Just like Eero himself, the Nitro Eero Etalla Snowboard handles business on every type of terrain from tech street rails to backcountry lines. High-end construction, a snappy traditional camber profile, and a directional twin shape make Eero's board both lightweight and tough as hell for stomping tricks in any situation.

The Eero Etalla is more than just proven traditional camber technology wrapped in snappy graphics. It begins with Nitro's lightest wood core made with its highest-grade poplar. The directional shape and progressive sidecut make carving predictable and controlled. The Eero Etalla also uses Nitro's All Terrain flex, which falls squarely between soft and stiff for true all-mountain versatility. Carving duties are handled by Nitro's Railkiller edges, which have 200% more impact strength than standard edges. For added pop, Nitro added tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers. For the finishing touch, the Eero Etalla gets the Sintered Speed Formula II Base. The formula II is deeply infused with nanotech wax for ridiculous speed in any snow condition.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Hi there,

I purchased the board around the end of the 13/14 season, and currently have about 10 days on it.

I can not be more impressed with this fine tuned piece of art.

Everything on the board is beautifully made, from the topsheet, to the RailKiller edges, all the way down to the fast ass base.

Even though its made in Taiwan, it is one hell of a well-built product.

Going off on a tangent here, I toured the PlayMaker Factory in Taiwan where the Nitro boards are made and I have to say, the production quality coming out of PM is consistent and of high-quality. I've strolled through GST, and compared to PlayMaker it is dirtier, and the people at GST are bored Austrians.

Back to the board.

It is really lightweight, the full tip to tail Poplar core really shines through.

Lastly, the camber on this board is extremely powerful. It charges hard and stomp even harder. Yet at the tip and the tail its still butter-able (but not as much so).

Hope you enjoyed my review.

Going off on another tangent here, can Knut Eliassen please chill the f**k out and stop rating his own company's boards? I mean how effin biased is that... geez.

Yeah but good board.
