Ninthward Firstblood Ski - 2007 BCS

I rip these east coast and west coast. I ski the entire mtn and good luck keeping up. Love the pop, love the speed and carve, but they do get the crap beat out of the top sheets easily and quickly, but def still worth the price. If you love to charge and rage this is a good ski. I put marker 14 free's on them. Sick setup.

I agree with the other review that these skis can burn up groomers. They also are very snappy/stiff on take offs and stable on landings when hitting kickers. In the deep pow they are pretty solid however, the stiffness that makes them snappy holds them back a bit in the deep pow because they don't float as well as softer skis. My only complaint is the scratch/chip resistance of the top sheet. I have a few big chips in the top sheet and I haven't worked these that hard. But if you're like I should be and care more about how it works instead of how it looks. Then your good to go! Overall these skis are fabulous all-mountain skis, as long as your more in bounds then out because that's where they really rip. However for their size they hold their own pretty well in the back country. I'm 6'3" 200lbs with the 180cm.

I have to agree with the comments about the topskin and top edges. My skis have about 20 days on them, skiing mostly deep pow and some steep groomers and bumps -no parks, rails, cliffs- but look like they've been through those machines that used to give jeans that worn-in look. In other words, they ain't holding up. I'm glad I didn't pay a lot for them. They'd be on their way back.

these skis love speed! you gotta get them moving to make them work. super poppy off everything. they love high speed cliff hucks, just get a little in the back seat on super deep powder days, the shovel isn't the widest but works best at speed.......lots of speed.
