The Nikwax UV Proof spray acts a sunscreen for your critical outdoor gear. This spray drastically reduces the rate of color fade on your gear and helps reduce fabric deterioration caused from exposure to ultraviolet rays. One application of this spray can double the lifetime of gear that's regularly exposed to harsh sunlight. The Nikwax UV spray also adds and renews water repellency to tents and packs. Write your question here...I used this product for the black top of my convertible. It works great as a water repellent but leaved a white residual. How can I take out this white residual?

This is an absolutely fantastic product! I've used it to waterproof/UVproof my pack, my tent/rain fly, and a couple of high alti. jackets. The stuff works like a charm! Water beads right off and there's been zero sign of fading so far. It's super easy to use and has great instructions.
