The Nike Triax C5 Watch is a simple but effective heart rate monitor ideal for the casual exerciser who wants to take advantage of modern technology without spending hours reading a manual. The C5 has a single heart rate zone, which gives you a warning beep if you go outside a range you set. The C5 is water resistant in case of triathlon, and both the watch and chest strap have easy to change battery compartments.
Bottom Line: A basic heart rate monitor that still gets the job done.

I've had this watch for a couple years and it works great, heart rate monitoring and all that. My big issue with this (and other Nike watches I've had) is the band. The glue that hold the rubber around the case begins to give out, making it loose around the watch itself and hard to push the buttons.

It's a great watch, and the heart moniter makes for much more accurate workouts. Also, the transmitter works on the treadmills at my gym, so the watch isn't even necessary for gym workouts. The heart rate sometimes bounces around, but much less than another standard, basic polar watch I tried out before getting this nike one. Overall a great watch at a great price.

Accurate heart rate monitor that displays on the watch, and on the cardio machines at my gym. Very cool. It is a good watch. For the first time, I am training appropriately. It is great for staying in your target heart rate range and super for monitoring interval workouts and recovery time.
