Great Shorts, Fit Took Some Getting Used To
The fit protocol with board shorts nowadays has fallen into this particular formula: true to slightly larger waist and medium to long inseam. That goes a bit out the window here with the Nike Gym Angle Print Board Short - Men's as the inseam is definitely shorter than normal along with the leg openings being smaller.
Granted, this is not a complaint from me. Based on my results, I'd give this 4 stars as the fit grew on me as I found that Nike probably did this to limit the leg material from restricting any movement. If I'm doing anything athletic in the water, I now go to these.
The material is also pretty bomb with the dry time and chafe reduction. I would go so far to say that it outdoes Oakley's middle range shorts.
So, I took one star off as more of a cautionary tale. If you don't mind a tighter fit or if you are more athletic than not around the water, go for these.
expensive for a reason
These shorts are pricey... no denying that, but the material is sweet. It's super thin but not see through at all, and barely even seems like you got them wet after submerging in water. They dry incredibly fast, and I like how they're not too long. I think the length on these is 20 inches.
