I love them.

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

These are my favorite shoes for summer. They're more minimalist than the janoskis, and feel a little cooler. As other reviewers mentioned, you can wear them without socks and they're comfortable and look great too.

They run true to size. I'm an 8 in most nikes and these fit great in an 8.

Good Stuff

I have a different color than pictured here, but they look great. Good summer shoe, as you can wear them comfortably without socks, although they can get a little dank when it's hot - problem is erased with thin socks. They are on the narrow side, so if you have a wide forefoot like me you may feel a little cramped, but once they break in a little they feel fine. A little space is showing between the wrap and sole in some small places, but that's probably because I've gone hiking and cleared storm drains with them, which is definitely not what they're designed for, and some little pebbles got wedged between. Since I haven't seen any growing space though.

    Braata bromance

I bought a pair of Braata LR's last fall (leather version) and got so many compliments on them I had to get another pair in a different color. Love the fit and style of these for a casual weekday. So far pretty durable as well, compared to similar style Vans I've owned in the past. Get on these for some urban-extreme-walking!
