Princess Snowboard - Women's

More advanced than any other women's board in the Nidecker line, the Princess Snowboard lets ladies go big in the backcountry and charge the steepest lines. Nidecker used an ultrasound process to select only long, flawless pieces of timber for the Princess Snowboard's vigorous, responsive wood core. Cutaways at the waist increases flex for easy turn initiation while the inlaid fiberglass weave increases torsional rigidity elsewhere for strong, powerful carving. Carbon stringers add snap, and a layer of Kevlar provides dampening when you're straight-lining through a narrow chute. Thanks to its Highspeed 8000 stone-ground base, the directional, mid-flex Princess lets you ride as fast and hard as you want—in or out of the ropes.

Bottom Line: The Princess offers advanced freeride performance that will rock your world.

Traversing Dream

By:

I just rode my new Princess after riding an Option Bella for 4 years. The first thing I noticed is that I am able to dig in pretty hard so my turns are much more solid. The next thing I noticed is that while traversing, my board didn't want to skip downward! It stayed tried and true and I didn't have to dip in where I didn't want to. Finally, a board that won't slip out from underneath me.

It'll be a combination of your riding experience, style, height, and weight. Weight is more important than height. Since you have the mass to push the board, you should ride at least a 154cm. In fact, I know someone who is a capable rider, and she weighs 160LB similar to your weight and height, and she usually ride a 159 stiff board.

Mighty Fine Board

I really like how this board held up on hard pack. It kept an edge and gave a solid impression of carving. It is also pretty quick and never let up on speed on the straight. I highly recommend it.
