Ginormous feet and a titanic thirst for jet fighter speed and maneuverability are required to master the Nidecker Wide Megalight UG Snowboard. A Megalight core, afterburner base, and Ultimate Grip edges will guide you safely towards sound barrier domination.
- Ultimate Grip uses a wave shape to add more contact points to your edge for extreme edge control in any condition-East coast ice beware!
- Tip and tail carbon stringers add strength and pop in an ultralight package
- Master Wood Core uses a combination of different woods and densities to provide the ultimate in lightweight power and performance
- Multiaxial Carbon uses a fiberglass developed by Nidecker to provide maximum torsion control- This fiberglass is enhanced with a bidirectional carbon fabric to give you the best edge control possible
- A Diamond Stone Finished 8800 sintered base hurtles you down the mountain at ludicrous speed
Bottom Line: Just because you need a wide deck doesn't mean you should settle for a heavy one.

Darren Dix here again to follow up on my write-up. Turns out, I DO have the "reverse camber" model, although that's not really what this board is. It's not until you look length-wise down the edge that you see what's going on, and hence understand why it rocks. The reverse camber goes from both the nose and the tail to the binding points, and is slight, and hard to notice without looking the board leangth-wise like I said before. Then, in between the binding points is just barely standard camber. If you set the deck on the carpet, you'll never know it wasn't a zero camber like I first thought, and even thought I had bought the wrong deck, wanting a reverse camber rocker, but that's what this deck is, only better. The reverse camber parts on the nose and tail make turning and control an absolute dream, and never catches an edge, does everything good that "banana" does, only it isn't buttery, and never slips in any situation. This is definitely because of holding on to just enough standard camber right where it benefits, away from the nose and tail. Once again, the ulimate grip is very much the other reason this board holds turns without slipping or buttering out besides the slight standard camber in-between the binding points. Overall, I'll bet this will influence other companies designs next year, but it seems Nidecker will be ahead of the game for a while. DD
Change me.
