Legend UG Snowboard

If you're more likely to ride a helicopter than a chairlift, make sure the Nidecker Legend UG Snowboard is on your feet when you hit the snow. Designed for the Alps, the Legend's High Speed 8000 sintered base gives you an incredibly fast ride for blasting a narrow couloir or wide-open bowl. Nidecker added Ultimate Grip (wavy edges) to the Legend this season for unreal edge hold on any kind of snow and ice. Its full-length Kevlar-reinforced wood core and N Concept Construction create a stiff torsional flex for unbelievable control at any speed. Carbon stringers give this gun the liveliness and response you need for a mind-blowing experience on- or off-piste.

Bottom Line: When a single run gets you more vertical than a whole day at a resort, the Legend is the board for the job.

Nidecker Legend ROCKS

You know the gear is good when you beat the crap out of it and then turn around and buy the same thing again!! I'm on my second Nidecker Legend 174. These boards are built for speed, responsiveness and predictability under the most demanding conditions. The first Legend had the Ultimate Grip, which seemed to help on super hard pack and icy days, but wore off after a few base and edge grinds. Probably a better feature for east coasters. No negative aspects on the UG though.

Hey JS thanx for the heads up on the legend. my favorite board is a nidecker peak, but its almost 10 years old and looking n feeling a little flat. Llike big mountain boards with lots of stability n control at high speeds on big groomers but light in the tip on powder steeps. Was wondering if your legend feels a little too stiff and tip heavy in deep powder or if its soft enough in the tip to ride up like the peak does? From montana and have a number of 30 inch dump days each year. Started using my palmer crown more last year but it feels a little divey in deeper snow and dont want to tag a legend if it rides like something I already have.
