Perfect for Tough Mudder!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I also wore these for Tough Mudder and had no trouble with traction. I also sometimes have issues with plantar fasciitis and was really worried about a semi-minimalist show for over 10 miles, but I have had zero pain. No blisters, great support and super lightweight!

great trail shoe... wears easily though.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I wear this shoe hiking, walking the dogs and trail running, but only had it one summer. The rubber seems to wear easily and traction slips in wet weather. Overall, a very comfortable trail runner and a great sale price.

Great Grip!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I used these shoes for Tough Mudder and I was amazed!! They have great grip, the sliding in tons of clay mud was minimal to non-existent and the wicking was awesome! I saw ppl slipping and sliding and we just trucked on through! Rinsed them down and put them in the washing machine and they were good as new. GREAT!

They do run small - size a 1/2 size up from your top shoe size.

Love these

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

The fit is excellent, although they run a little small (I usually wear a size 6 but had to return and order 6.5). These are perfect with or without socks. I haven't taken them out on the trail (don't want to ruin them right of the bat) but for the gym and walking on paved paths they are awesome and really comfortable. I feel sturdy when i have them on.

Takes some getting used to, but worth it

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After wearing a bit more, I wanted to give an updated review. I am loving these for daily life. I don't run in them but I wear them around town running errands, etc. True to size. They are definitely a minimalist shoe so it takes some getting used to at first.

Quality Kicks

My wife was given a pair of these for our wedding by a friend that helped design them. She says they were comfy under her wedding dress and great to run in. She personaly perfers a bit more padding, but said the heel pocket is great; it cups your heel just right so there's no slipping as you log miles. She also likes the wide toe box that gives your feet room to swell if you're running ultra. The fabric on the uppers keeps your feet cool too.

    So Comfy!

I haven't gone for a run in these yet, but they're great for running errands, taking the dog for a walk & gym workouts. Loved them so much that I bought a pair for my mom & sister too.

If you order them, make sure the check out the message that's on the bottom (was so excited when I saw it!)

      Enough support...

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This shoe is great. Super snug and light weight. I have narrow feet so it is hard to find a shoe that will fit. Just make sure to ease into using the minimalist shoe and build up to the distance on it so your body has time to adapt.

      Perfect or near....

I'm a fan of the minimus trail Wt10,wt20 and ran a lot of ultra with the minimus (From stage races to 100 miles) even in very rocky conditions...These have a pefect mix of near barefoot shoes (much proprioception) and a little more protection when getting in more technical trails. The fit is like a glove and the flexibility of the shoes allow me to adapt to any conditions.

        Teeny Tiny

A return. Not like NB traditionally sized shoes. Sooo tiny and narrow. Ordered a 7.5. Arrived with No insole. But that's fine because I need to put my own in to run, anyways. I'd have to size up to a 8.5 even without an insole. Maybe a 9 with?

I guess I missed the point in these shoes. They make good shopping slippers for skinny, tiny feet.

          A+ Comfort, fit, and function

Bought these a month ago & have been wearing them consistently to functional fitness training classes as well as 8 mile trail runs. This new updated version of the WT110 from New Balance is so much better than the first version they came out with. More room in the toe box and the arch hugs your foot better than the first version. Also, the structure of the shoe seems to be holding up a lot stronger than my first pair. The Black/Green colorway is awesome, with subtle lime green and purple hits. Honestly, I wasn't sure how I felt about minimalist shoes until this I'm psyched.

Got these for my wife and she is loving them. Super lightweight and minimalist, but not quite a true barefoot shoe, which she appreciates. This shoe is stiff enough to support her feet on uneven trails without the uber support (read: bad for the knees, ankles and feet) of a lot of trail runners. If you're looking to slim down your shoe without going totally barefoot, these are great kicks.

Question on sizing... Tried on the wt10...

Question on sizing... Tried on the wt10 and size 8 fit me snugly, but I heard these might run a bit differently. Should I size up to an 8.5 or even a 9?
