Description

A down-to-earth shoe for lady runners who shun the pavement.

Embrace the fleet-footed and minimalist approach to tackling the trail when you lace up the New Balance Women's MT10 Minimus Trail Running Shoe. A lightweight and fitted upper allows you to run comfortably with or without socks, and the thin, but supportive Vibram outsole brings your foot closer to the earth for a more natural running style. Unspoiled by the overly-techy approach to traditional trail-shoe design, the neutrally-cushioned WT10 protects your foot so you can run barefoot-style comfortably and safely.
  • Synthetic and mesh upper fits close to the foot and breathes easily to keep your feet cool and dry on hot runs
  • 4mm drop from heel to toe keeps your feet naturally low to the ground and at a third of the height of traditional trail runners
  • Acteva midsole uses highly-flexible materials and cushions the foot without adding unnecessary weight or bulk
  • Minimal Vibram outsole provides traction, protection from trail hazards, and its long-lasting construction survives season-after-season

I wear an 8.5 or 9. I ordered a 9 and my toe hits the end of the shoe while wearing thin socks. If you order this style shoe, get a size larger.

These are probably my favorite barefoot shoe, minus the low instep space. They are truly minimal, and narrow enough to hug your foot. My only complaint is that they are really tight over my higher instep, however they have gotten better with wear.

I've had these for three months and I run 10+ miles a week. No shin splints and my tendonitis hasn't come back! I'm hooked. They also work well for hiking and climbing approaches. I didn't have any sizing problems but, I generally buy according to my Euro size. I'm not sure if that makes a difference...they do run wide.

Definitely size up! I wear an 8 in most shoes, but needed an 8 and 1/2 in these. Glad I read the reviews here first so I got the right size. I've worn them hiking and running and have loved these for both. I can feel some rocks through the sole, but have only hit one rock so far where I noticed that it was sharp at all.

I had the fortune of trying these shoes when I ran past a New Balance demo booth last summer. I already wore New Balance running shoes and was curious to try these. I've been skeptical about investing in the FiveFingers shoes, but wanted something a little more "natural," less bulky than the traditional shoes. Immediately, these shoes felt like they belonged on my feet. They contour to the shape of my foot and are light. I like how they push you to run more properly (landing more on your midfoot). This trail running shoe has a great sole for the trail. I have also been using it for road running and haven't had any problems. I have been active in sports and dance for years, so this felt like the perfect cross between a sneaker and ballet shoe...but I also think others will find themselves making an easy transition to this kind of shoe. Bonus: it's breathable and you don't need to wear socks.

Note: I have been wearing size 9.5 shoes with New Balance for a while and chose the same for this shoe.

I love my shoes. Had them two days. No need to be broken in. They are way comfortable. True to their size. Love how grippy they are :)

I have 2 pair and I walk and run in them they fit my foot perfectly although they run small. I sized up. I have wide feet so they are great for that. Want to get every color.

This is my second pair. They are absolutely great for running. I pronate and have felt less stable in running shoes as the soles have gotten thicker and the top material more flexible over the years. No problems with these I feel no instability and no pain. Very comfortable
