Awesome shoe-waterproof not breathable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I bought this shoe as a cross trainer for my group fitness kickboxing and interval training classes.

1. This shoe is very waterproof, I went trail running with it once in snow and slush and my socks came out damp from sweat, not drenched from the snow. However, they dont breath well at all. After my fitness classes my socks are wet. If I wear them throughout my day about the first or second hour in my socks are damp. If your feet sweat throughout the day and want to use them as an every day shoe, buy a different version of the minimus.

2. I love shoes that have a bigger toe box, but my food is skinny, and found this shoe is the perfect fit I've been looking for

3. I love the colors!

4. :-( the heel loop to assist with putting on the shoe ripped off last week. I guess I need to loosen the ties a bit more before putting them on.

Overall I really like them, I just need to get another pair that isn't waterproof. ^_^

These shoes fit great and have awesome traction with Vibram soles but take a long time to transition to... I didn't have the patience... I used them on a steep hike up to Wedgemount Lake the third time wearing them. With only a 4mm drop from heel to toe, I over stretched my ankles and Achilles tendon. Be cautious to build up to using Minimus shoes; save you a lot of pain in the long run.
