Description

It's kinda like barefoot but with way more cushioning.

Maybe you're rocking the old-school heel strike, maybe you're a total midfoot runner, or maybe you're somewhere in between and still tweaking your running technique. Whatever your running style, the New Balance Men's 1770 Running Shoe comes with supremely lightweight materials that are designed to give you a barefoot feel without sacrificing the comforts of cushioning.
  • Light materials, welded seams, and no-sew material application help reduce weight and keep seams flat to prevent blisters
  • Durable RevLite midsole keeps your feet agile and weighs 30% less than traditional midsole foams
  • Abzorb Strobel board runs the full length of the shoes to give you extra cushioning
  • N-ergy shock-absorption system extends past the heel to the midfood to fit both heel strikers and midfoot runners
  • Stabilicore medial support technology gently stabilizes your gait

took a couple days to break them in, like most shoes, but they do the job. i've never really seen an exceptional shoe (as far as increasing your performance). maybe such a one exists, there were several carbon fiber prototypes, but they never made it to market. the nikes looked sweet, but they were too rigid or something. what's interesting with this particular shoe, is the gradient sole. i took some pics too, the back is typical to your standard running shoe, while the front leans more towards the minimalist types. one advantage of this is it does shave some weight off, and you don't really need that much support in the front anyway. and i found em for 99 at Joes New Balance Outlet. STEAL. but backcountry still has the best review section. by far. oh yeah they breathe pretty good too.

pretty goood
