1520 GT Hiking Shoe - Women's

The New Balance 1520 GT looks like a cross between a trail runner and a hiking shoe. That's because it is. A fast-moving multi-sport outdoor cross-trainer with Gore-Tex waterproofing for year-round use. From winter trail runs to Wednesday games of Ultimate in a summer downpour, the 1520 GT's multi-directional Vibram sole and burly upper take a licking and keep on sticking you to the ground when it counts. Molded C-Cap midsole supports your foot in lateral motion, and stiff Stability Web arch support prevents buckling on uneven terrain.

Bottom Line: Faster than a boot, tougher than a sneaker.

Great shoes

I love to hike but I hate to wear heavy duty hiking boots. These shoes are perfect for trail running, hiking and cross training. They are heavy duty and have good traction for off road travel.

Nice Shoe - Typical New Balance

I finally did in my old leather New Balance Trail shoes so I went hunting for something similar in New Balance, exclusively - found these.
They are great as normal! Size is true and comfortable.

great kicks

These shoes have been awesome so far, they have great traction in slippery conditions and they are waterproof as they say which is awesome! The only things i have to say about them that im not totally psyched about is that the tonuge is mesh and not waterproof so water can still get in there, and they do run a touch small. I usually wear a 7 and went with the 38s and they fit really well but in the toe area they are a litttle bit tight, im hoping a little breaking in will fix that! But all around i give these shoes a thumbs up!
