    It's a celebration!

In celebration of their 25th anniversary, Never Summer created the limited edition Twenty Five Snowboard. This instant classic represents Never Summer's reputation of quality, performance, and durability that they've worked so hard to achieve throughout the years. With a directional shape and medium flex, this board delivers both superior powder performance and carving precision to make it an ideal blend for the hard-charging, all-mountain freerider.

Equipped with a Ripsaw Rocker Camber profile, this board's aggressive camber zones enhance pop, response, and edge hold to help you take on steep, tight tree runs and massive jumps at or outside of the resort. Meanwhile, the rocker between the bindings adds a bit of playfulness and helps you float in powder for versatility all over the mountain. Then, extended transition zones at the main contact points offer a more forgiving feel and help the board plane in powder more easily, while the Vario Power Grip sidecut uses multiple radii to create additional contact points for reliable edge hold on sketchy steeps and icy pipe walls.

Inside this board, a NS SuperLight wood core blends extremely light wood with durable hardwood for unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, delivering strong, snappy pop without bulk. An RDS 1+ Damping System uses twice the amount of elastomeric rubber foil as the RDS 1 for superior stability at speed, while also providing exceptional vibration absorption to fcombat foot fatigue when you're either plowing through chunder or maneuvering through the woods.

Bi-Lite fiberglass brings you a smooth, even flex for consistently reliable control and playful feeling wherever you take it, while the sintered P-Tex sidewalls protect your board from cracking through just about any temperature you might experience on the mountain. Plus, the Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 base is the fastest base Never Summer has ever developed and is sure to keep you flying down the hill at breakneck speeds from December to April.

    • Medium-flexing directional board for any conditions
    • Hybrid rocker delivers aggressive edge hold and float in pow
    • Insanely light wood core keeps your ride strong, poppy, and flexy
    • Damping system and stabilizers eliminates harsh vibrations
    • Biax fiberglass offers smooth, even flex throughout
    • Durasurf sintered base keeps you moving at lightning-fast speeds

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am in love with this board. Carves, jumps, forgiving but holds an edge like a mofo. Can't wait to take it out west and see how it does in real snow! Love the back foot rudder feel to it. 195 lbs and riding on the 160 - fits like a glove. Had second guesses about it being directional but those are long gone. This board rocks! Paired with 2015 Burton Mission bindings and 2015 Burton Ruler boots.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was given the opportunity to ride the Twenty Five on a 14inch powder day. I had my chairman as a comparison riding the same terrain and conditions.

The Twenty Five is an one quiver board that can do it all, and do it extremely well. I ran steep drops, found early morning powder lines, tight tree runs, and finished on groomers for old times sake. The chairman is an excellent board, it excels in the chop, the powder, and can carve well on the groomers, but the twenty five is hands down better in every single way.

The biggest difference I noticed was the flex, this board wants to do anything you ask, and it responds instantly. The chairman has an unapologetic ride where preplanning your line is imperative. I found myself in some tight spots with the twenty five in deep powder trees, and never once ended up somewhere I didn't want to be. NS gave it stability and a playful ride while still floating in feet of powder. Turn initiation in tight shoots was easy, and holding an edge on hardpack was effortless. It smoothed out small rider mistakes to the point where I expected to get through just about anything I threw at it by the end of the day.

This board takes everything the chairman is, removed some flex and made it much better. I would change my review to a 4/5 on the chairman after riding this board.

I got the opportunity to spend some time on this long awaited board last winter at one of the demo's we attend and man is this sick. This board can rip a turn. When i saw the shape i wasn't sure how well it would carve on hardpack. Man was i wrong. This deck can rip hardpack as it adopted the ripsaw hybrid profile. With that being said this thing also can take on the steeps and deeps. I really like how damp this board was as well. The way it handled chatter for a mid stiff board is insane. On my few runs on this board i have to say it was the best overall performing board i rode and would stand by it all the way. I would love to chat about this board if you are looking into it.
