It seems like splitboards have always been sort of an afterthought, made with a manufacturer's low-end materials and low-tech design. Not anymore. The Never Summer Women's Raven Split Snowboard is, of course, its split version of the Raven, Never Summer's most technical, highest performance women's snowboard ever.

At its core, the Raven is packing Never Summer's Super Light Split Specific Wood Core to help you conserve energy on the uphill skin. The board features Never Summer's Original Rocker Camber with rocker underfoot for extra float through deep, bottomless powder. Camber extends from just outside the inserts, to the tip and tail, for added power and drive in and out of turns.

Its directional shape with Vario Power Grip sidecut adds edge control and a very predictable, no-surprise feel when you're carving hard. Dual carbon X's add stiffness at the tip and tail but leave the area between the bindings more flexible for smooth, easy carving. Adding dampness while reducing high-speed chatter, Never Summer provides Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers and a women-specific Carbonium Damping System for maximum vibration damping. Finishing things off, Never Summer uses super-fast Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 base with P-Tex tip and tail protection for extra resistance to scratches and dings.
