Prospector X Splitboard Kit - Wide

Ditch the resort's jam-packed lines for the solitude of the backcountry with the Never Summer Prospector X Splitboard Kit. This kit includes everything needed, except for bindings and poles, to ride the backcountry lines of your dreams. The included Voile Universal Splitboard Interface mounts with your favorite snowboard bindings. Should you choose to upgrade to split-specific bindings, it integrates with Voile's split bindings, as well as Spark R&D's pin bindings (such as Blaze and Burner). Additionally, the included Voile Splitboard Climbing Skins make touring a breeze.

The Prospector X accommodates feet size 11 and up, providing a stable, floaty platform for bigger riders with large boots. Its tapered directional shape maintains a buoyant feel that's almost impossible to submerge in deep conditions. The slightly revised Extended Tour Rocker Camber provides the go-anywhere versatility of Never Summer's Original Rocker Camber, but with subtle flat zones under the touring brackets for enhanced uphill performance. Since the rocker is intact, the board retains incredible float. Camber outside the bindings powers into and out of turns, as well as choppy snow conditions.

Loaded with more dampening than virtually any board in Never Summer's line (it's equal to the Chairman), the Prospector X features a RDS 1+ Dampening System to eliminate unnerving chatter and excess vibration at high speeds. The SuperLight Wood core shaves weight for faster uphill performance, without sacrificing its high levels of strength. Carbonium Laminates maximize energy transfer for instantaneous edge-to-edge response.Other split-friendly features include Sintered P-Tex sidewalls for beefed-up durability, as well as a Durasurf XT 5501 base for effortless glide through deep snow.
