Inspired by its Colorado roots, the Never Summer Heritage Snowboard is a medium-stiff deck designed to slay the steepest runs and deepest powder with unflappable poise and stability. Built off Never Summer's proven Rocker Camber profile, the Heritage gives you rocker underfoot for a bit of added play between the bindings, as well as massive float through deep, bottomless powder. Cambered zones extend from the binding inserts to the contact points, providing the responsive feel and powerful snap needed to tear apart groomers, snake through trees, and launch serious cliff lines.

Designed as a directional twin, the Heritage has a twin-like shape, yet its 0.5-inch stance setback allows you to float through fresh, untracked snow without submerging your nose. The SuperLight Wood core gives you an extremely high strength to weight ratio for bombproof build quality. Most impressive with this hard-charging freeride board is its Carbonium laminates. These powerful additives consist of an advanced top and bottom carbon matrix, maximizing torsional response and strength when you're launching drops and straight-lining chutes. Additionally, the board's Vario Power Grip sidecut uses multiple sidecut radii to provide solid grip on icy steeps and bulletproof runs.

New ride in Steamboat

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Got this board in time for a family vacation in Steamboat. Not the best of conditions but what an awesome ride! Chopped through the spring conditions with no problem. Coming off an old T6 (still in great condition), this board was is a revelation! Great all around and playful in the pipe. Gonna try it out in Japan next year!

What bindings would you recommend for this board? 6'2" 190lb size 13 Malamutes. Daily surfer mostly FreeRide Epic pass holder. Have a 2009 RevolverX and 2011 RaptorX

Hey there, It really comes down to personal preference. I go with a soft boot and stiff binding or stiff boot and soft binding. I'm partial to Ride bindings due to ease of set up and the ride is pretty aggressive. I have an 09 Heritage with Ride Revolts on it now as my all mountain freeride set up, I sometimes swap out for K2 Formula bindings for a more responsive ride.

Since its a medium stiff board the stiffer the binding will bring it to life. The Raptor I use softer bindings on and Revolver I used the same Ride's that are now on my Heritage.

Happy shredding! Nice quiver by the way!
