Roomy and rectangular, the Mezzo Loft is really more of a bed than a sleeping bag, meaning you can easily roll from side to side, roll back the top of the bag to let your arms breathe, and throw your puffy jacket into the pillow sleeve to give your head something soft to rest on. As far as insulation goes, the Mezzo Loft is filled with a synthetic material that will retain insulating properties if it happens to get wet, but with a DWR finish along the bag's nylon fabric, you'd have to be sleeping in the rain for that to happen.
