A tiny-when-packed size, sub two-pound weight, and reliable, minimalist-style design make the Nemo Equipment Meta 1P Tent an ideal choice for bike touring, lightweight backpacking, or boat camping. Rather than complicate this simple tent with an array of clips and poles, Nemo's designers outfitted this shelter so it works with a single trekking pole as the main support. Large vents keep air moving inside and plenty of storm-proofing keeps you dry after a nasty storm rolls through your campsite.

  • Nylon floor and fly material are highly durable, lightweight, and resistant to deterioration from UV light
  • External PU coating repels moisture and precipitation to keep you dry inside
  • Internal mesh keeps bugs off you while you sleep and improves ventilation inside the tent
  • Tent utilizes a single-pole design that uses your hiking pole as the main support just outside the front entry
  • D-shaped front entry is easy to climb in and out of, and the wide front entry makes it easier to load and unload gear from under the vestibule
  • The 100in length easily sleeps a tall, single camper and leaves some room for gear inside
  • Weight is less than two pounds, which makes it ideal for lightweight backpacking or bike camping
  • Large rear vent works with the overhead vent and mesh-front inner wall to encourage airflow so there's less condensation build up and a more comfortable sleeping space
  • Vent hoops are reinforced to keep the upper vents open at all times so you get the most ideal cross ventilation from high to low
  • 6 x 6-inch packed size easily fits in a backpacking pack, canoe or kayak, or your bike pannier
  • Oversized grommets keep the tip of your trekking pole in place and reinforced areas of the tent body hold the pole handle in place
  • Includes dry-bag-style stuff sack, stakes, and repair kit

Too much condensation!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I used this tent in the winter and in the summer and it just has too much condensation for comfort! Fortunately I am able to return to Backcountry. I ordered a MSR Hubba from Backcountry and am very satisfied!
