unnecessarily large?

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I ordered this an the non-luxury version. They were the same thickness while inflated, and nobody's head is that big. don't see why you'd need the extra weight. kept the non-luxury version, and got great sleep! I'm sure that this would be just as comfortable (literally), so 4 stars.

Super Awesome!

The Nemo Fillo Pillow is my go to.I use my Nemo Fillo Pillow in backpacking, camping and travel! Love it, the memory foam is very comfortable and you can inflate it to whatever level you want. The nozzle is easy to use to inflate/deflate and the micro suede outside is sot and feels great on this Nemo Fillo Pillow. For a pillow that is lightweight, this Nemo Fillo Pillow really provides great performance! Berz Rating: 95/100

Love it!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

A bit of a challenge getting it into it's built in stuff sack. Packs down extremely small for a pillow of this size. Other than that this is the ultimate camping pillow. It is definitely staying in my pack.....

Agree with you on the pillow, excellent quality and functionality. I found that if pillow is deflated with micro suede facing up, fold 1/3 in and other 1/3 over with suede on the inside (like a letter in an envelope, just the long way); then fold in half and stuff into its pocket. I did this 9 days in a row, of course putting this inside a pack liner helps with humidity. Cheers

Good Choice in Materials, But Not for Me

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I slept on this thing last night. It's well made, inflates in seconds, and folds into itself quite easily. However, it just wasn't for me.

The memory foam isn't really memory foam. It's more like just foam. And although it's easy to adjust the height of the pillow, it just didn't seem natural to me. The Thermarest foam still feels better overall (although it's far less compressible).

I wish I had the resources to build a better pillow. I'd love to be on that team; a good night's sleep is worth it's weight in gold.

How well does this pillow do in cold...

How well does this pillow do in cold weather? Does the foam harden or anything?

Hey ZimZam,
The microsuede cover and air pocket keeps the pillow comfortable, but the memory foam does harden in colder temps. I find that it warms under the warmth of my sleeping bag and from my head, but it is harder initially in colder temps (below 40F).

Backpacking pillow!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great little pillow for backpacking. Really lite and packs down pretty small into an integrated stuff sack. Suede feels great against your face. Only takes a few breaths to blow this up. Offers a good amount of height and support on it's own, if additional height is needed the backside has bungee straps that you can stuff your jacket into to raise it up a couple of inches.
