After spending the entire day marching up a steep trail at altitude, the last thing you want to do is exhaust your lungs further by manually inflating your sleep pad. Simply pack the NEMO Equipment Disco Pad Pump and you'll be sprawled out and relaxing in record time. The pump only weighs 2.2 ounces, and it stuffs into a small sack so it won't weigh you down on the trail or take up valuable pack space.

Its the little things...

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

2.2 oz of added luxury? Sold. I've got a 2.5 inch thick full length Nemo Astro pad. Rush inflating will get you a bit dizzy. Taking your time takes time. Not a big deal, but it just makes inflating easier. Other members of your crew will be delighted when you offer them a go with their pad.

Have you ever been out in the woods with a mild cold or respiratory malfunction? In those situations, this is an amazing accessory to have in your ditty bag.

Won't work with Big Agnes pads!

The description says "Tapering cylinder press-fit attachment makes the pump compatible with a wide variety of valve sizes", but shoppers take note that it does not fit Big Agnes sleeping pads.

I would add that rolling up the disco pump and stuffing it back into its carry bag is harder than blowing up a pad with one's own lungs. Though I suppose there may be some validity to the dry vs. moist air argument.

    I returned mine.
