Sophisticated insulation.

Down's not just for giant puffies and expedition parkas—it can also be sleek and sophisticated, as evidenced by the Nau Men's Down Shirt Jacket. The 800-fill insulation is packed inside a lightweight shell made of recycled polyester and treated with a DWR coating to repel water, while the snap front and cuffs provide a classy alternative to zippers and hook-and-loop closures. There's a high collar to keep your neck warm and hand and internal pockets to keep your phone safe and your fingers from freezing when you're hitting the town on a January night.

  • 800-fill goose down
  • Recycled polyester with a DWR coating
  • Snap front and cuffs
  • Hand and internal pockets

Nice jacket

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs small
  • Height: 5'11"
    Weight: 185 lbs
    Size Purchased: Large

I don't hate it, but it's been a few weeks and the thing leaks. I'm probably going to need to buy something else for next year as I dont think the jacket will survive. But otherwise, it's warm for a solid fall day as long it isn't windy. The sleeves fit longer than I'd hope for, but as some of the reviews suggest either here or on other sites, order up. For 5'11, 185lbs - I normally wear a medium, and took the advice from those sites. So yea, a large fits with room to fit a wool vest under.

Good by Logo

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I love this jacket! I have one and I have just bought one for my hubby. It is staple to our everyday outfit... Love how clean it is and fits like a shirt not like a box that is a puffy!

Style Meets Performance

I love this jacket to wear around town in the winter. It has a nice tailored cut and looks great with anything from a t-shirt to a dress shirt and tie underneath. The thing that really sets this jacket apart from the vast array of casual jackets, is the combination of sharp looks and super high quality 800 fill down. Since NAU used this super high quality down the jacket is very light and not too puffy, yet is still incredibly warm. And when you're traveling, the 800 fill down also comes in handy as it makes the jacket pack down much smaller than comparable jackets that use 500-600 fill down or synthetic insulation.

Fit is very true to size (but tailored/slim). I'm 6' 190 lbs and a large fits perfect and trim with room for a long sleeve shirt underneath. I actually just ordered myself a second one of these in XL, to use when I want more room to layer and/or don't need a nice trim fit.

Agree that it's a nice jacket, but the pockets are soooo deep, you can carry a small baby in them. This makes the pockets much less useful for carrying anything that you would actually want to put into the pocket

How cold is the winter where you live? This is so lightweight I worry it's not going to make much of a difference here...

Pavel sorry I missed your comment, the pockets are a bit large but I do still find them useful to stash my everyday items like keys and sunglasses and whatnot.

Natalie, I live in Park City, Utah and our idea of a cold day is probably around 0-15 Fahrenheit we don't get much in the negatives. This jacket definitely doesn't cut it as a full on winter piece, but what I love is that it's super warm for how thin it is. If I'm going somewhere I want to look nice this jacket looks great over a button down shirt and gives you enough warmth to get from your car into work or into a restaurant or wherever you are headed. I also love throwing it over a t-shirt or something when the temps are moderate. So if you want a full on winter coat look elsewhere, but this is a great layering/versatility piece to expand the wardrobe if that is what you are after.
