Designed to fit over the bow compartment in the new 12-foot Ultimate FX kayak, the Native Watercraft Ultimate FX 12 Hatch will protect any gear you store underneath. The hatch is made out of hard, ABS plastic (unlike the Ultimate kayak line's previous soft nylon covers), offering a more secure covering that's easier to handle and set things on top of. Coupled with scupper plugs, the hatch will create a water-resistant storage area. Thread the Ultimate's built-in crisscross bungee cord through the hatch to keep it secured on the kayak, and thanks to the bungee cord stretch, you'll still be able to easily lift the hatch to access your stuff inside.
