Bottom Line: If your full-throttle life calls for quality polarized eyewear, choose the Native Throttle Sunglasses.
Maybe a bit late but I just picked these up. Sizing on my face these things are tiny. I would consider myself on the bigger face size so it's my fault for not checking the description that says medium. Width wise these are perfect, nose pads were awesome, but on my face they look like my daughter's sunglasses. Definitely would look better on a small face.
you can check the native eyewear website to see their sizing chart. i find it very helpful when choosing native sunglasses. i was sad to lose my attacks. they were the best.
follow this link then look for the "size chart" on the right hand side as part of the product description. http://www.nativeyewear.com/style/view/13
I have a big head (23" helmet size) on the wide side but took a chance with theses not having tried them. The attack were just a little too big. The fit is really good, any narrower and it would touch the side of my face. There is just enough clearance all the way around. The fit is low profile and very comfy. Lenses stay put and are easy to replace once you get the hang of it. I do it slightly differently than the directions and it works so much easier. I like the blue reflex. Very happy. I own the dash xr and fit OK, but sit too low on my nose.

I love these sunglasses. The polarized lenses are great, frame is small but still provides total coverage, and they are surprisingly lightweight. A winner!
Write your answer here...Reflex means a really dark lens-so make sure you want a dark lens with these shades.good for very bright light, but not so good for shade or intermittant light.go to Native's website if you need more info.
I picked this up to replace a dying pair of Oakleys and am I impressed! Outside magazine gear review has this listed as a womens frame which is incorrect. There are several frames which are more feminine, but I went with the Aspahlt/Grey which are extremely lightweight, very comfortable and well made.
I got these with the blue reflex lenses, and they quickly became the glasses I use most. They are dark enough for really bright light (10% light transmission) and they cut glare really well. They are light and comfortable, and they stay in place very well when running or cycling. Two downsides: first, the gray lens base preserves true color, but doesn't enhance contrast they way a brown or copper base would, so I prefer my Kaenons when sailing; second, the Reflex coating seems a bit fragile. Mine are pretty scratched up, but I guess I've been hard on them.
I have another pair of Native sunglasses, and felt that they had good optical quality and fit. The only issue I had with those was the finish (paint) is coming off around the ear pieces. The reason I went with the Throttles is that you can change the lenses, which I wanted to be able to adjust to riding conditions for mountain biking. So far, they are working out great. The fit is close, and they stay put when running or cycling. I am hoping the paint stays on over the ear pieces over time.
I've always been very picky about buying sunglasses online b/c I'm not sure how they fit. I took a risk on spending the money on these sunglasses but they turned out great. They are very styling, fit well, and worth the price if you are willing to spend this much.
Love Natives. Love these guys. Fit my rather wide head real well. I have two pair, and several different lenses. SAC had some great deals on them. more...
