Native Eyewear made the polarized Bolt Sunglasses with exhaust vents in the top of the frame, so your shades won't fog up when you start to sweat. The venting system also blocks light, since it would be lame to have great airflow but still have to squint. The Bolt Sunglasses' Snap-Back Interchangeable Lens System lets you change polarized tints to fit the weather, while the lightweight, durable frame handles whitewater kayak trips and bumpy mountain bike rides. The Bolt Sunglasses' sleek style and wide frame is best for large-profile faces.
Bottom Line: These sunglasses cut glare and stop the fog.
Been an ocean lifeguard for 30 years and have worn just about every type of sunglasses there is. The Bolt is the most comfortable, versatile, durable sun eyewear that I've ever owned. My 1st pair, which I purchased 3 years ago, is still going strong!
All Native Sunglasses, including the Bolt, come with nosepads. They are cushional nosepads which help keep the sunglass from sliding down your nose when you are being active and getting sweatty.

I was introduced to Native Eyewear when I was looking for run glasses...I couldn't find any Oakleys I liked and the guy at the store recommended NE. LOVE my Hardtops. So when I saw these pop up for super sale I snagged them, hoping they'd fit like the hardtops. They do and I'm happy. I have a longish face so I like meaty glasses to fill it out. They fit great and are so light...my RayBans leave marks on my nose, these Bolts do not. Totally unisex. The only complaint is that the lens aren't as dark as I prefer...I have pterigium in both eyes and I need really dark glasses but these will suffice for shorter stints in the sun. Definitely try them!
I was quite nervous about buying sunglasses online as I have a VERY hard time finding ones that fit in stores. My eyelashes usually hit the lenses, and they either give me a headache from being too tight or are too loose to wear when I'm outside being active. I have a medium to small head. However, I grew very sick of cheap sunglasses that didn't work anyway, especially after trying on someone else's polarized pair. So... after months of watching Steep & Cheap and seeing what was the least I could pay for some decent ones (since I'm quite broke, but knew I needed some good glasses to protect my eyesight), I took a chance on these Native Bolt (in Jungle color). I am sooo happy with them. They work perfect for driving and flying. They don't really work for hiking because they bounce around too much, which I was disappointed about, but they are one of the best things I've bought recently, and definitely the best pair of sunglasses I've ever owned. I love the design, the color is very cool, and the fit is great. My first experience with polarized sunglasses has been great, much to my relief! ;-)
Bought on S&C. large to medium face. I typically wear more of an aviator style but wanted something more sturdy. These are very sturdy, arms lock in place. The polarized reflex bronze lenses are amazing even compared to other polarized lenses. Brings out terrain and blocks all but the harshest of light. No fog issues but I have not tried them on a hot rainy day. Light leakage not an issue. These have opaque frames and they do cut down peripheral vision a little, most notable when checking my blind spot while driving. -By no means tunnel vision. I do not like the raised Native logo on the nose pads, doesn't seem to add grip, but slightly irritating, unnecessary pressure point. I plan smooth it out with a razor. The fit and weight is otherwise exceptional. I would have liked a hard case, but beggars can only be so choosy.
I am in love with these glasses. I don't have an enormous head, but it is big enough and they fit nicely without squeezing my temples and stay firmly in place when I am paddling, hiking, or just running around. I have a few different lenses and they make a huge difference on the water when it is low light or scorching bright and they cover my entire eye reducing glare from the water. My only beef is the tendency to fog up a little easier than I thought they would but nothing excessive or out of the ordinary.
really nice shades. good optics, lighweight, high quality. I dig them. I have a medium sized face, lots of glasses are too big on me. The throttles are a little small on me. These fit me very well.
I just got these 2 days ago, but so far I'm really impressed. Very lightweight, and I'm loving the bronze reflex lens. My only complaint is that I wish there were some rubber pads on the end of the arms where they touch my head behind my ears. Looking forward to giving them a real test on the ski hill this weekend.
These shades are the worst piece of crap I've ever bought. Lightweight and cheaply made, the frame chipped the first time I tried to remove the lens. DO NOT bother buying these!!! You will DEFINITELY be disappointed.
