Denali Map

It has decent detail but because it covers the whole park it has to have a smaller scale. Still a good piece of equipment if you are planning a trip there. If you are going to stay in a specific area you might want a more detailed map.

Santa Monica Mountain maps

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Be careful is buying the Santa Monica Mountain maps. Several trails are not up to date...I have been hiking them and have been surprised a couple times.
National Geographic and State parks could do a better job at communicating.
