i forgot the best part this is not a camel back hydration bladder with the horrible circle large mouth crap lid that is hard to hold while filling, close when full, and the lid always flips around in the way. this pack has a zip lock bag approach. super easy to fill and hold while filling.

you can put many things in this middle pocket open end . its small pocket folds down from the large pocket and is attached at the top with two straps perfect for sticking your helmet in the middle. (in pic fully loaded shoes jacket and helmet. packed to the brim.
This pack is incredible!

i love this pack. the mesh straps are light, strong, and well vented. i sweat a ton and these straps allow air to stroll through reducing sweat strap lines. the hi lite of this pack is the chest cross strap unlike a normal bag the straps fall off or the pack can be thrown around as the weight of the bag swings back and forth during movement. the x single chest strap allows for your load to be harnessed to your body with a comfy fit and reduce bag shift. the single strap is very comfy i worried when i first bought it but now i recommend it. the next great thing is that the hydration bladder is huge 3 litter. i love the over sized bladder. you may not need all 3 litters but its better to have the option to fill it completely full or half way. you can never have to much water. the valve has on on off twist to lock the bladder while running around. the pack has two storage compartments
the larger one would fit a loaf and 1/2 of bread not smushed.Perfect for a rain jacket or hoodie and lunch or a bike tool kit or extra components. for general questoins you can fit a pair of shoes in the larger storage area size 12 and under. the smaller one is about 1/2 loaf bread size perfect for electronics keys phone and wallet. it has a key clip and a divider pocket.
the third pocket is the small one in front with the bladder tube clip. i use it to hold my ipod nano and shuffle and run the cord out the corner. it all just works . highly recommend this pack to every one quality product build to last.
(bread loaf standard unit of measurement for fly fishing trout bums)
