Nathan made the Woman's Intensity 2.0 Race Vest to fit your body, because Nathan and you both know that a little discomfort at mile 10 magnifies and becomes torturous by mile 40. Wearing a vest-style hydration pack eliminates the need for a tight waist-belt, eases breathing, and reduces diaphragm fatigue. Nathan made the Intensity 2.0's included hydration bladder to be filter-compatible, so you can fill up at a river during your Hard Rock 100 run. A three-way propulsion harness ensures this vest sits comfortably for your entire endurance event.

Bottom Line: When you run 100 miles, you want a hydration system that works as hard as you do.

She LOVES it!!!

I surprised my wife with this pack. She ran the Disneyland Half-Marathon in August. I read a lot of reviews beforehand wondering what I should get her. Lot's of women seemed to favor the waist packs, but my wife had told me she'd rather have a backpack type. There weren't many reviews of this one, but they were all favorable. She LOVED it the moment she put it on. Says she can barely feel it on her back because the straps are so comfy. There seem to be just the right amount of pockets and the right pocket sizes too. Can easily fit keys, cell phone, energy bars and/or gels, pepper spray, etc... all at the same time. A must have for full and half marathons!!

Does this bounce around while running or does it secure close enough to your body to prevent bouncing?

This pack has a chest strap that is height-adjustable. These packs are designed for endurance running so they should stay comfortably secure with minimal bounce.

One well thought out pack

I purchased this for my girlfriend to use, because she hates running with water bottles in her hands, and it is the most well thought out piece of gear either of us owns. The adjustments at the sides are easy to make, and keep that pack very secure against the back. The front strap slides vertically so as to get you the best fit possible, regardless of endowment. I should mention that this pack talks about being a women-specific pack throughout all the tags that come with it, although that isn't mentioned on the site.
