When you crave sustenance in a pinch, reach for the Nathan Elite 1 Plus Pack's five-ounce nutrition flask, suck down some precious energy gel, then follow it up with a glug from the included 22-ounce water bottle. Nathan's angled XTS cradle holds the bottle for quick hydration, and a small zippered pocket secures your phone or keys. Cinch down your gloves or a small jacket in the tension-lock shock cord and clip into the elasticized waistband for all-day comfort on the run. The Elite 1 Plus fits waists from 26 to 42 inches.

I use this pack more than any other for trail running. I've used all different types of bottles in this from Ultimate direction to cycling bottles and they all fit nice and snug. The gel flask that it comes with is almost worthless, to stiff and poorly designed to get all the gel out. Other gel flasks work just fine in the holder. The pocket is big enough to hold some TP, granola bar and an extra gel. One time I put an extra gel flask in the zippered pocket and it was pretty uncomfortable as I could feel it in my back the whole time.
Otherwise a great waist pack.

I love the size of this one for shorter runs. If the holster were built better, it would get 5 stars. I bought this AND the Nathan Elite 2V Pack (which holds two bottles). The bottle holsters on the 2V are much more sturdy and you can swap the bottles in and out quite quickly. The holster on this, the Elite 1 Plus Pack, is more flimsy and therefore it takes some finagling to get the bottle back in, especially if you have the nutrition flask inserted as well. The Nathan bottles are awesome.
