Great bag. Makes it a lot easier to transport - car and on the trail. Nice extra of having the pole attached. Recommend highly

I use this bag for my wife's MSR Lightning Ascent 22's and my Lightning Ascent 25s. The bag is really durable and fits both sets of snowshoes well. But I am worried the sharp parts of the snowshoes are going to cut each other when travelling. If you face the sharp parts outwards, the teeth catch the mesh window on the top of the bag, and if you place both snowshoes bottom down, then the teeth on the top snowshoes seem to rough up the top of the bottom snowshoe. I've resorted to using a towel folded up between the two shoes. A little divider or something would have been great. Still a worthwhile bag though.
Awesome Tote!

Got two - Denali Classics and my W's Lightning Ascent 25's fit beautifully. Beefy construction without being too heavy to attach to a pack. The inner pockets now hold floatation tails, a repair kit, and the snow baskets for off-season storage. I even stuck a snow claw shovel in with the snow shoes, easy fit. Only nitpick is the straps for the poles are super beefy and it took some finesse to get them to hold the slender ends of my poles (without baskets) tightly. One awesome feature I didn't see mentioned in the description and other reviews is that there is a nice hanging loop in addition to the carry handle and shoulder strap, which makes hanging them on your gear wall easy. This is the kind of purchase that may seem silly at first but will pay off in neat-freak storage, ease of transportation, and overall readiness for adventure!
Great bag

Used it only 2 times but thought it was perfect for toting around my snow shoes. Keeps the melting snow from messing up my car too.
Built to last (of course it is, its MSR)

Great bag for holding my Evo Ascents, a pair of tails, my poles, and maybe a few miscellaneous things like lunch, snacks, or several hundred toffees.
The stitching is top notch, and the fabric is more than durable enough to stand up to the crampons and rails on the shoes. I was a bit worried about ordering this and having the crampons on my shoes destroy them from the inside out over time. Not to worry. These things, like most MSR gear, are built to last.
It may seem like a frivolous purchase, but its a nice bag for storing and carrying them, particularly if you're like me and prone to spazzing out when fellow trailmates begin to throw your crampons or snowshoes around the leather interior of your car while they dig for their lip balm.

It's a snowshoe bag... What more can you say about it... My snowshoes fit in it. I had to use some foam rubber on the sharp edges of the snowshoes, otherwise I fear the bag won't be long for this world... Otherwise, it works.

This bag will fit most snowshoes up to 25" long. It has a carry handle and shoulder strap for easy handling. One of the best features, it has straps for your trekking poles making it super easy to transport your gear. Keeps the crampons on your snowshoes from ruining your other equipment during transport.

I bought these for my wife's 25 inch MSR Lightening Ascents. They fit in the bag perfectly, with the internal pouch holding the MSR repair kit.

Old question but if you are talking about the 22" series this bag should work.

Sure will. I use this bag to carry my Evo Ascents, a pair of tails, and still have room for snacks and stuff.

This snowshoe bag is great! It's really well made of durable material and has several features that make it a bit better than the other bags I've seen. The mesh in front serves both as a viewing window to see which pair is inside, and keeps the bag ventilated. The loops on the side hold your poles, and there's an internal pocket for extensions etc. There are two loops at the top and bottom to strap the bag to the back of a pack, and both a carrying handle and shoulder strap. The only thing I can think of that would make it better were if it came in different lengths. My show shoes fit fine, but I know that there are plenty of people out there with longer ones than me.

does anyone know if you can stuff in the Tubbs flex snow shoes in this bag. Reading above I think they should go but I was hoping for someone to say for sure.
Thanks Oliver

The MSR snowshoe tote has been everything I needed. My MSR Danali Ascent snowshoes fit well inside with a pocket for the tails included. I even had room to put my gaitors inside. The tote seems to be made well with quality tough material. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had lashing straps on the back so I could lash the tote to the out side of my pack. Which I have done on several occasions to free up pack space.

I bought two of these snowshoe bags. They are perfect. There is a spot to carry your poles. The bag is big enough to carry women's redfeather and MSR Denali snowshoes. I would definitely recommend it.

My Ascent 25" fit tight in the bag and the single strap makes carrying the bag a bit awkward. Good storage bag, not the best tote.

i have the lightning ascents i think 30's-does msr make a larger tote?

It says longest shoe that will fit is 22-25in. my shoes are 27s and 30s so i don't think they will fit based on the description. MSR doesn't make a longer tote but their longest snowshoe is designed to fit this one. Here's another option:http://www.backcountry.com/store/ATL0059/Atlas-Atlas-Snowshoe-Tote.html

Atlas has a longer bag and Campmor has their own line of bags to fit longer shoes.

This bag will work with most mfg's as long as the length doesn't exceed 26in. My Redfeathers are 30in long, so therefore this tote wouldn't work for me.

Hey Sherlock-- I sent you a question the other day, and did not receive a reply. I was wondering if you had any snowshoe tote bags that fit 30-31 inch snowshoes? Thanks for your time, Daryle

A Perfect Fit

I was thoroughly impressed. This MSR Snowshoe Tote is an absolute perfect fit for the MSR Denali Ascent snowshoe, including a well sized pocket for the detachable floatation tails.
I was previously using a shoe tote made by REI, which while protective of my gear - it was baggy, clumsy, much too large, a completely sealed rubberized enclosure, and over-all an awkward way to carry my equipment.
The MSR Snowshoe Tote on the other hand (for the Denali) is ideally sized, very well fitted, and a joy in comparison. Poles attaching conveniently to the bottom the bag when being held by the hand strap. Like the comfort of a well-packed backpack, items will not shift while in this tote.
Besides the "perfect fit", the next best feature of the bag is that it is breathable, allowing your shoes to vent and dry appropriately after use.
Does what it is supposed to.

The bag works well with my MSR Denali Classic Shoes. There is enough room for my flotation tails too. The bag is well vented to help your gear dry. The hiking/ski pole straps work to hold the poles on the bag. I used a carabineer to ensure they didn't slip through the hook-and-loop closure loops.
