MSR Packtowl Personal Body Towel - 2007 BCS

First, I ordered this two days before I needed it - a few days before Christmas '07... and they absolutely delivered on time and without any problems. That alone won my business. The product itself was everything they and others described. The reviews by the company and their customers are trustworthy. Finally, the people I gave the gifts to said the bodytowel was a huge hit among them and their friends - who they showed it to. Works well, dries quickly - and they also loved the bodypouch it came with. It's slim, can be wrapped around your waist to sit against your body, holding this great project. I bought one for an adventure traveler and the other for a fisherman. Good, diverse gift.

whether you're going to use this towel for travel or for backcountry use, it's a winner. i bought the largest towel, and it has performed incredibly well - soaking up large quantities of water (mostly getting water off the tent before packing it away for the day) and wringing out quickly and solidly. definitely something you should look into getting if you plan on spending time camping. however, i would advise getting one only as big as you need- in hindsight i would not have gotten the huge towel, but only a moderately sized one. highly recommended.

These towels are incredible. They soak up so much water, ring dry in a flash and pack down to almost nothing. Awesome backpacking or travel towels. Once you've tried these things you'll never go back to other towels.

This towel is like chamois but lighter and softer. I still like my huge cotton towel as long as I don't have to carry it around; this seems to be more efficient though. Absorbs and dries fast.
