This is a great tent. Set up is simple and I had it up in under 15 minutes the first try. Sturdy and very roomy, and the vestibules are cavernous- especially the one with the pole. Which brings me to... I only wish the poles broke down into shorter lengths. The tent and footprint can be compressed in the bag (or a compression bag) and take up a whole lot less space but the poles break down into 24" lengths. I camp on motorcycle trips and would like to minimize everything. Except that is, comfort in my tent. This is a good one. I will travel with the poles in their bag strapped to a different bag so I can get the tent and my other sleeping gear all in one dry/ compression bag.

I picked this up for a car camping and short backpacking tent.
The tent is really well built and has a great design.
Initial setup took awhile, so set it up at home before you head out.
Huge vestibules, 2 doors.
I'd say it's a semi freestanding design - you need to stake the body out before
It's 1/2 sleeve and 1/2 clips.
you would be able to stretch out in it.
This is my first MSR tent and I'm pretty impressed.
