The MSR sub-four-pound Hubba Hubba 2-Person 3-Season Tent gives you plenty of head room without weighing down your pack. MSR gave the Hubba Hubba a second door and two large vestibules, so you and your partner can both have space for your gear and your own exit when nature calls in the middle of the night. The Hubba Hubba Tent's sturdy, all-in-one hub-and-swivel pole system provides lots of interior room so you won't be squashed into the side of the tent while you try to sleep. Use MSR's fly and body for maximum protection against stormy weather, or match the fly with the footprint (footprint sold separately) for an ultralight solution.
Bottom Line: Embrace your new two-person by sub-four-pound tent. Hubba hubba.
This is a great tent. I have a few friends that love it too. Some people notice that while this tent is very light they are surprised about how big it is when it is in its stuff sack. You can solve this by throwing the tent into a compression sack (without the poles). Like a sleeping bag you don't want to store it this way long term, but this can be extremely helpful when you want everything on the inside of your pack
Another complaint I sometimes here about this tent is the lack of pockets. I wanted to just clarify that there are indeed pockets inside the tent at both ends. They are actually pretty big pockets too.
This is a great tent. Double doors and vestibules is extremely nice to have when packing with a friend.
This is the coolest. It is so simple and quick to set up. I love the color and I can fit my organic big pad (opened) inside. Which was a big time plus for a two man. Love it, love it. By the way it is super light. I haven't used my pegs, but the dude below says that you need eight, and it does only come with seven. For sure get the footprint to go with.
If you're going to be using this tent in snow, you'll want the Hubba Hubba HP. I've done plenty of snow camping in mine, as long as you have a Thermarest Prolite 4 and an amazing sleeping bag, you'll be fine. :)I used mine in Alaska and was pretty cold.http://www.backcountry.com/store/CAS0358/MSR-Hubba-Hubba-HP-Tent-2-Person-3-Season.htmlA friend of mine has this tent & we used it for three nights a few weeks ago. The two door design is great for access & each of us had our own vestibule for storage. There was a light snow that did not collect on the fly.

I have had several tents; Black Diamond Eldorado, Black Diamond Firstlight, several Sierra Designs tents, and this tent is a better three season tent than any of them (I really like the Eldorado but it's pricy and heavier). I have taken this tent to the windrivers and to the uintahs several times already. It has more than exceeded my expectations. IT is big for a two season tent, I sleep with my wife and my dog (sometimes in the tent, sometimes in the vestibule). It has done well through storms, no condensation and the waterproofing was good.
Love my Hubba Hubba. The mesh body is awesome for star gazing on a warm night, and yet retains heat surprisingly well on colder nights. I did get the optional footprint to go with it, and am glad I did.
This tent is essentially as light as any bivy or tarp, but is free standing. Fits in a Granite Gear Rock Solid size small compression bag, without the poles. Couldn't ask for a better solo or duo, lightweight backpacking tent.
I've used this tent camping alone and with a partner during all 3 seasons and it's perfect. It has held up well, is super easy to set up, and the weight is good if not great. I've used the fly and footprint configuration once to save weight and it worked well. I've even used it in the snow once with snow pegs. After use I set the tent up in my basement for a couple of days to make sure it's dry before storing. The air flow, even with the rain fly is adequate in the summer given a decent breeze. Well made, nice pole configuration, easy to set up and worth the price.
I have used this in all seasons except deep snowy winter. may not want to use it when sandy and windy. tent has one pole which makes setting up in the dark and rain really easy. it is free standing so no need to anchor it which also makes setup awesome. i highly recommend this tent to everyone, you will fall in love with it too.
Great tent. Light. Super ez to put together (even I had no problem). Tons of head room for a one man tent. Would be nice to have a spot to hang a light on the inside. That is the only drawback I have found.
I absolutely love this tent for summer camping. Because of all the mesh it feels bigger than it actually is. This tent is lightweight, durable, and will hold up in a storm. Can be cold in the fall and winter, but perfect for warm weather camping.
