MSR Hubba Hubba & Hubba Hubba HP Footprint - 2008 BCS

Does what it's supposed to well. Can be used with just the fly and poles to reduce weight if you don't want to bring the rest of the tent.

Super durable and super lite. Fits nice and easy inside my Hubba Hubba tent sack.

For the extra $40 you should get this footprint. The first weekend I took the Hubba Hubba, it rained hard for 2 straight days. The footprint provides a nice layer of added protection and water resistance for the bathtub floor. It packs very small, you can easily fit it into your tent sack. Also, fits perfectly when setting up with the tent, just guide the poles through the tent holders first then the footprint holders and you are good to go. Easy to clean as well, just hang it up like it was a poster and spray it with the hose, then just let it dry for a few hours.

Used the footprint the first time we used the Hubba Hubba tent. Fits perfectly, easy to use and very lightweight. We stayed at an established campground on our way to our backpacking trip and they had those gravel bed tent platforms. I can see the gravel indentations in the footprint but no rips/tears, anything. I was really glad the tent bottom itself was not going to be on that gravel because the Hubba Hubba bottom is pretty thin. So the footprint was essential and served us perfectly.

It fits perfect, weighs nearly nothing, and keeps this this light tent durable.

Maiden voyage in Mt. Wrangel St. Elias National Park in Alaska - "coldest summer in 50 years" according to the locals. We encountered some decent rain showers and the tent was very easy to assemble and kept two of us warm and dry (I'm about 6ft tall and found there was adequate space for two with some smaller gear at our feet). There was a considerable amount of condensation (very normal) but nothing managed to make its way inside the tent. I liked the dual doors so no need to crawl over your tent-mate and the vestibules were big enough to set boots, or even your whole pack underneath. It is very light for a two-man tent and would be fine for taking on solo trips as well. I have two small children and plan to use it with them later this fall.

Fits like a footprint should. Keeps tent clean and puncture-free!
