Weighing under 4 pounds, the MSR Hubba Hubba 2-Person tent gives you plenty of room without weighing down your pack on spring, summer, and fall backpacking trips. MSR redesigned the Hubba Hubba with a second door and vestibule, so you and your partner can both have space for your gear and your own exit when nature calls in the middle of the night. The Hubba Hubba Tent's sturdy, all-in-one hub-and-swivel pole system provides lots of interior room, so you won't be squashed into the side of the tent while you try to sleep. Use MSR's fly and body for maximum protection against stormy weather, or match the fly with the footprint (footprint sold separately) for an ultralight solution.

Bottom Line: We're issuing a high infatuation warning for MSR's redesigned 2-Person, 3-Season Hubba Hubba Tent.

I use this tent in Malawi, Central Africa and is perfect as it's light in weight and with just the inner up is perfect for under the stars sleeping without mosquitoes! Light and packable, use a footprint, but also order an extra tent peg, for some reason only comes with 7 but 8 are needed!

Fatnastic Tent

Took the Hubba Hubba on a fall canoe trip in the Boundry Waters. It's incredibly light so it made the portages a breeze, super easy set-up which was great since it was raining. Lots of room even with 2 people and gear. The only drawback is that I wanted a loop at the top to hang my headlamp - but I can deal with that!

Could you please tell me the difference between the two Hubba

Could you please tell me the difference between the two Hubba Hubba tents that you have on the web. Item Cab0421 and Cas 0356? There seems to be quite a price difference between the 2 for same tent.

great product...

I have had this tent for about 2 years now and haven't had a problem yet. Its design makes it extremely roomy inside. I wouldn't buy the "pouch" for the roof. It isn't very stable and things fall out easily. Very lightweight and easy to put up. I have had it in some pretty heavy rain and haven't had a problem. It is expensive, but if you are an avid hiker, I would recommend this tent to anyone.

Lightweight, easy set up/ take down

By:

The durable yet lightweight material on the tent and fly make it excellent for backpacking. The tent poles are all attached making it very easy to set up-- I managed to put it together for the first time in the dark just by looking at the picture. The walls don't slope in so drastically like some other tents making it roomier. With two average sized people there is still plenty of room at your feet inside for two backpacks. For extra gear the two vestibules offer a considerable amount of space. The only downside I've encountered is that there is not enough coverage around the base of the tent on the door sides where the mesh meets the tarp floor. If a breeze hits the sides and it's dusty it can slip under the fly and come in through the mesh.

One of the best tents out there

This tent is great for just about anybody. There is very little fighting for space with this tent as it has dual vestibules and two huge doors for each person to exit. The fly can be used without the tent for a nice hot day cover or for a warm night. The tent is almost entirely mesh so you don't feel as claustrophobic with solid walls. The material is super nice and the color is not offensive. The stakes for this tent are great because they are sort of flat, easy to put in but sturdy. This tent doesn't take much to set up yet it is very well made. Also, the shape of the tent is unusual as it is almost square at the top rather than cone like. You can really sit up and not hit your head on the top of the tent, you really feel like you have a ton of headroom.
