MSR Holler Tent: 3-Person 3-Season

Used this tent for three straight months on the road on a European cycle tour. We stayed nice and comfortable in some of the most extreme rain and windstorms I have ever witnessed.

With only two of us travelling, we were able to fit 100% of our gear inside with us and it would have easily slept a third person. Vestibules are not overly big, but functional.

Make sure to guy out the fly or else it does tend to get some condensation underneath.

After a lot of use, we did start to have some fairly minor leakage from the floor, but all in all, we loved this tent and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Just got back from a 2 week camping road trip through Utah and California. Our Holler3 tent withstood Moab's sand and winds (35-40mph is what NOAH was calling it). After an all-night rain storm while camping on sandy rocks our sleeping bags were a little damp underneath. The tent was sitting in about an inch of water that morning so not bad all things considered. The tent is very easy and fast to set up, even with only one person. Unlike other 3 person tents I've seen, I actually believe 3 people would fit into this tent comfortably. The tent is symmetrical with the two doors and vestibules so it adds a lot versatility when setting up. The vestibule area isn't overly big, but we always came and went from one door, so if you needed to you could easily use the other vestibule area for storage only, there would be enough room for several backpacks, but nothing too tall. The zipper of the fly was far away and awkward to unzip from inside the tent, my only real complaint about the tent. The interior pockets are large with 2 on both sides, and well as 2 above. There's a good amount of very useable living space inside as well, easy to sit upright anywhere in the tent. Despite the high sides, the tent seemed very very stable in weather, the fly reaches low to the ground for tight protection from the elements. Great tent so far!
