Great for backcountry cooking

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These work well for cooking more than dehydrated foods. I have had no issues with them and am very satisfied. I mean I really can't say anything more about them just buy them and you will thank yourself.

Are they high temperature silicone? Would they not melt in hot bacon grease?

Responded on

Hey Jake, thanks for your question. I can't find anything that states these utensils are made with high temperature silicone but I would guess that they have to be. I have used these utensils many many times with very hot temperatures and never had any issues with the utensils melting. Hope this helps.

They perform as advertised

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We put them to the test last week, cooking for four. The set works as advertised, light weight, compact and inexpensive. The spoon is shaped perfectly to get the last bit of batter and beans out of the cook ware. The measurements on the inside are helpful. I would of traded the strainer for tongs as my cookware has a strainer lid but I can see its potential. They looked micro at first glance but scooped, mixed and flipped as needed.
