Nifty little diddy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is super handy to have camping. You can cut veggies on it, keep your coffee spoons off the ground/dirty picnic table with it, and then fold it right back up and be on your way.

If I was going for a lightweight / tough hike adventure, I'd probably leave this at home. Its definitely not a necessity, just really handy.

Does the job.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a handy piece of equipment for anyone who has eaten way too much ramen and chooses to cook real food now. Light, small, and convienent. The only thing worth noting is that when unfolded it does not remain perfectly flat; so if you cut up your garlic into tiny pieces and then pick your hand up off the board it will bend towards is folded shape and you may loose some garlic to the chipmunks.

Much better than the regular alpine

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a much better improvement over the regular alpine cutting board. It is rigid and folds down to a smaller size. The old one was flexible and rolled so after a while it wanted to hold the rolled shape.

I have a smaller cutting board that I used to use but it was a joke. It was too small to be practical. This is a great size for backpacking or just keeping with your car camping gear.

Good size

It's a cutting board so it's not the most complicated piece of equipment you'll have. It does it's job and is a good size to actually be useful without taking up too much space.
