You may have never heard of Movement Skis, but the magazines and review crews have, and they're spreading the good word like gospel. The Thunder is Movement's all-mountain multipurpose model, perfect for blazing tight trees, dropping steep chutes and railing out through chopped up fields of crud on your way back to the tram. Okume and poplar in the center core are flanked by beechwood rails, for a seemingly impossible combination of light weight and stiffness. The Thunder is one of those rare skis that cries out to be pushed as hard as possible and keeps coming back with tenacious grip and ferocious speed—let's just say that you had better be ready to take it to the limit.
Bottom Line: These all-mountain expert planks may be light, but they come with the thunder.
