    Leave nothing behind.

You aren't going to get those epic photos in the backcountry sitting on your coach or skinning out there with your gaggle of gear in any old backpack. Load up the Mountainsmith Parallax Camera Pack to seek out the images you want. This is Mountainsmith's most technical camera pack, which features a backcountry suspension and a load of camera and media organization features. There's a three-point access to camera gear (back panel, side panel, top panel), so it's always within reach. The side access DSLR case can be deployed as a stand-alone pod or chest mounted accessory.

The front padded laptop compartment fits most 17-inch screens and the second front pocket is for iPad/Kindle/tablet. Use the side panel pocket with zip out bottom for tri-pod and light stand carry. The load-stabilizing compression system helps you make quick work of heavy loads, while the molded back panel provides comfort on trail. The included rain cover keeps items protected during unexpected storms. Should you need to have more lenses at the ready, you can attach Mountainsmith lens cases (sold separately) to the attachment points.

    This bag ROCKS!

sturdy construction, TONS of room (enough for all my glass including a HUGE 300 prime), storage for laptop/tripod, AND cool details for organizing good/dead batteries/cards. It's great! buy one if you need to upgrade from tour tiny travel pack. Fair warning: it's a large bag (see pic).

      This bag ROCKS!

      Great Pack!

Very nice camera pack for sure. My one complaint could be that it is almost too big! When using as a carry-on, it just about maxes out the space you get with the airline and you don't have much leeway for making it any smaller.

Incorporating over 30 years of pack building experience, we offer a better fit through correct load dispersion and ergonomic, ease of use for the photographer.

okay bag sounds great... but it's missing a key piece to surviving in the outdoors and that is water!!!! Is there a spot for a water bladder... How is anybody going to go out in the outdoors with no water??? professional or weekend warrior..

        Best Bag Ever... for me

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this bag to pack all of my equipment around. I love Mountainsmith and this is the best pack ever. It is roomy and the compartments are adjustable. I love the yellow interior it helps a ton with finding things. It also has pockets w/ red & green zippers to distinguish fresh and used batteries. The color is a nice gunmetal grey color. There are great pockets on the hip belt. You can get into the pack from the back but also from two smaller pockets, one on top and one on the lower left. I love that the tripod straps are on the side instead of the front. Overall an Amazing backpack.
