    High Quality Simple Construction

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Really good looking simple waterproof duffle. Not flashy, definitely functional. One compartment, I got the Large and it's big enough to carry multiple other gearbags inside. Has backpack straps, which are nice when lugging gear - would like a standard shoulder strap, but these straps work fine.

    Very Happy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use the bag as a boat boat bag. Food, rain shells, water bottles , extra layers, first aid kits, camera gear... Thats what lives in the bag and gets tossed on floor of the boat be it a canoe or a drift boat. I love the bag, its been very durable, no leaks etc etc. I will admit I am careful with it... Especially out of the boat. I don't use it for anything but the boat. I've added a rectangle of foam (cut up Z-Rest) to the inside of the base to help prevent bottom punctures and adds a little structure to it. For the price (sale) I'm thrilled with it.

    Not durable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've only used this on a multi-day fishing outings in SE Alaska and I find a new tear in it every time. It's not very abrasion resistant either. Sadly, I don't think I got my money's worth out of it. It's starting to look like Swiss cheese.

    Cold Weather Failure

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use dry bags frequently to store clothes, food, and gear while snomachining in Nome, Alaska. Paired with cold weather and the abuse of being tied down in a siglin sled proved to be to much for this duffel. Anywhere there was a fold or crease ended up tearing. Small abrasions and rips now cover the entire bag. I have had considerable better luck with other generic dry bags, pretty disappointed it wasn't able to hold up when I needed it.

I use this bag a lot

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This dry bag is very helpful and I use it all the time. I will travel with it and use is as with a carry on or check it. Since it rolls down fairly small the carry on option is beneficial if I'm only taking some clothes somewhere. Or, if you decided to bring a lot of things and use the back as a check it works well for that.

The water proof bag has been very nice knowing that if the bag is miss handled in the rain or taken on a trip all the gear will be dry. Being out in the Aleutians staying dry is always a priority, so having a bag that can keep things that way is important.
The straps are handy because you can turn the pack into a backpack. After adjusting the pack to fit me the back pack is fairly comfortable. I wouldn't use it on a 14+ mile hike but if I was going on a trip to hike out a little while then camp the backpack would be nice. The sling strap also pays off when moving the bag a short distance from one place to another. The stitching seems to be very sturdy so I'm not that concerned about tearing.

    Bomber!! Exceeded my expectations.

Used this item a handful of times and was most impressed with the following: roll top keeps out water, welded seams, carried as pack well, tons of room and not black- sooooo tired of black bags!
