This padded case accommodates different sizes and types of lenses and provides full protection when you don’t want to lug a huge camera bag around. The zippered main access features a dust guard as well as a mesh accessories pocket and two separate padded spacers. No matter if photography is your hobby or you are a professional, you know lenses are too expensive not to protect. These cases are key to keeping things operating smoothly and keeping clean and protected in your bag. They are easy access and pack up small when you are not using them. Definitely not waterproof. They would withstand minimal water, splashes but I wouldn't subject them to too much water if you can avoid it. If you are looking for something that is waterproof check out pelican cases:

This case is perfect for my telephoto lens with a lens hood on it. The pading is perfect. I only wish that it attached to the mountainsmith quickfire camera case i got at the same time. But still a good case worthy of 5 stars
