The bear was 15 feet tall if he was an inch.

Your favorite flannel isn't warm enough, your favorite puffy is too hot, and your favorite fleece lets the wind blow right through when you're sitting around the campfire drinking whiskey and spinning yarns, so what's a man to do? Pull on the Mountain Standard Men's Camp Jacket, of course. With a body made of wind-blocking polyester, strategic 60g PrimaLoft Gold insulation, and panels of Tough-Face Mountain Fleece, the Camp Jacket balances insulation and weather protection to keep you comfortable during marshmallow roasts and marathon games of stump.

    Wear this Everywhere

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm seriously not kidding when I say that I wear this everywhere. It's the perfect weight for walking to the gym on brisk mornings, staying warm walking to work or just about anything outdoors. I wear it camping, short hikes, climbing or just exploring new spots. The styling is awesome with the snap buttons and no huge overstated labels. I wouldn't recommend it for super long/technical ascents because of the snap closure but thats the only downside. Overall, I don't have a single jacket in my arsenal that crosses from functional outside to fashionable in the city as well as this one. I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs and the medium fits me comfortably with a bit of room to move.

Perfect jacket for any weekend warrior

So this bad boy is kinda hard to pin down. I like to think of it as a Shirt Jacket, but a take that has never been done before. Honestly I love the style and function of it.

Function: This is and ideal insulating layer for those one day out and back hikes. 60 grams of Primaloft Gold at your core, and fleece where you need to have that breathability. The shell material for the insulation is surprisingly rugged and sheds rain like a champ. I have used this frequently while fly fishing and it has done the job when knee deep in freezing water.

Style: Get ready for "Hey I like that jacket" cause it happens at least couple times a week for me. The snap buttons are a refreshing change and are sturdy (I've ripped this thing off like clark kent in a phone booth and buttons have no problem) the chest zipper is perfect for my fishing license and extra flies. I have they grey color and it fits in with anything you choose to wear.

Size: I am 5'11" 178lbs and the medium is right on the money.

Overall this thing is built for awesome adventures right in your backyard or favorite parks. Get yours before they are gone cause I have 3 friends that have already bought them.

Wearing this jacket has made me a better man. It's got a split personality as a mid-layer on really cold days or outerwear. Which on days worn as outerwear has made my wife jealous because of all the sick sweet looks I get from the ladies from it's unique mountain style. But the best part is its functionality. Love the way it feels and the mobility in this thing allows me to be like a gazelle in the African Savannah. Keep it up MS team. Love this jacket.

Go-to for around town and outdoors

This was my first item purchased from MS and I'm very pleased. I wasn't sure where this would fit in my outerwear but it has been my go-to for late fall into winter temps. I generally run hot so it is great to have a jacket that occupies the middle range while still keeping me warm when it is below freezing and I'm out touring or climbing. At 35 degrees I was sweating in this jacket and a t-shirt while bouldering in the Little Cottonwood shade.
I'm 5 foot 9 and 140lb and ordered the medium. It fits great, slightly loose but is ideal for layering underneath when it gets frigid and I want to travel light.
Also of note, there are buttons not a zipper. Makes it easy to quickly tear off for a send go!
I've never seen a jacket like this so the look is definitely a plus!
