    Awesome belt

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used a lot of nylon webbing belts before, but this one by far is the best I've had. The belt itself is solidly built, and actually stays locked in place. Overall, a great buy.

Love the grip on this belt

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I have a couple of other belts like this one and I've always experienced major slippage during activity. This belt is quite the opposite. When I cinch it up it stays even so much so that if I have a major meal I have to loosen the darn thing. I know people on here don't care about the look but my wife gives it a thumbs up, so that a good thing.

    New go to belt...

I needed a hiking/backpacking belt with some teeth. By that I mean light weight, but won't slip. And that describes this puppy. Once its synch'd it will not move, not even a little. The buckle is hollowed out in the back so it is lighter than it looks, but still solid. So why not 5 stars? Well, that grip is achieved via some very very sharp teeth on the buckle. After a season of use the material is fraying slightly. Not a big deal and nothing a match or lighter cannot fix in a second. Also the actual colors don't exactly match the pictures displayed but kudos to BC for trying. Since these aren't intended to go with my Brooks Brothers pinstripe 3 piece suit, not a big deal if the color is off a bit, but it does add a little fun unpredictability to the purchase. And yes I too chopped it down to a 34 waist with an exacto knife and lighter to clean up the edge.

      Thin Webbing, Nice Buckle

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: One Size

The buckle is nice and solid, but the webbing is very thin. It cuts into my waist skin when cinched tight. I have the Conveyor and Tech Web that both use much better, thicker and more comfortable webbing. Length on this is adequate and will fit up to 42" waist, I cut mine down to about 36" for a perfect fit.

      Great ski belt!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

I have major issues finding a belt that does exactly what I need. Standard belts with the normal poker and hole do not offer enough finite adjust-ability. Some nylon belts don't stay in place making you constantly readjust them. This belt, however, locks in place and I never even notice it or have to adjust my pants when I'm on the mountain. Which is kinda what you want out of a belt. Buy it, measure it, cut off and burn the excess and you're good to go!

      Nice, but far too long

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size

Very well made. Stays where you set it all day. Looks pretty good too. Unfortunately, it's extremely long. I'm a 32, and the extra part of the belt goes all the round to the side of my hip.

      Great Hold, Too Long

This belt is great as far as function is concerned. The clip holds the belt in place so the tension stays exactly how you place it. The only issue I have with the belt is that it comes in only one size and it's super long!
