- Q & A
A keeper, for me
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I'll keep these. Modern shorts don't come in a 29 waist so I don't often find a decent fit. They do, however seem a bit big for my skinny butt. Let's call them roomy and easy to move in.
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs large
Buy these shorts if your thighs are about the same diameter as your waist.
Nice shorts for a hike!
Shorts follow the pants
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
...which makes them excellent! The usual Mt. Khakis quality and great comfort along with good looks and excellent pockets for all the essentials. Mine were sized just fine although some folks below said they run short. These are good to wear anywhere for any occasion. Great buy!
Best pair of shorts ever!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These fit great and are super comfortable. Need to get a few other pairs, cause when they aren't clean I'm sad that I have to wear other shorts. Pockets are really nice and usable. Movement is unrestricted. Nice enough to wear anywhere, tough enough to go anywhere.
Love these shorts. Fit and materials are the best. Absolutely the best shorts I have ever bought. I am hooked on Mountain Khakis.
Great all around shorts
These shorts fit great, look good and are made tough for all kinds of outdoor activities. I use them for sailing and the pocket configuration holds tools at the ready for quick retrieval.
Gotta love these shorts! Excellent fit and style, and extremely tough. Great for climbing or hiking, or just around town. Cotton material is really soft, but very durable. 3X stitching ensures they'll last a long time. About to order some more.
high waist shorts
Definitely nice shorts - that provide belly button coverage. If you lower to hip height, the crotch totally binds on your legs.
Just got my pair and they are AWESOME! Rugged yet very comfortable. Definetly run small though, I'm normally a true 32" waist but ordered the 34" based on other reviews and couldn't have gone any smaller.
I get more mileage out of these shorts than all my others combined. Tough meets classy and comfy. I ordered my normal size and they fit great.
super comfortable, run small
Awesome short but definitly run small. i normally wear a 30-32 and I fit a 34 in theses. Super good hike/do whatever short. look good too.
Great shorts, run small
Great shorts, seems very solidly constructed and should last a long time. The length is perfect. Only complaint is that they run small. I usually where a 30 but that was too tight so I got the 32 and its perfect.
Mountain Khakis Teton Twill Short - Men's
These are nice shorts that fit true to size in the waist but the cut seemed funny to me. The butt was really flat and not roomy. It made it have an odd look and I have a fairly flat rear. I was bummed because these looked so money. But alas the fit was not right for me.
Best Khakis I've ever owned
They're sweet- fit very well (measurements are exact- the 34" MK shorts fit like Levi's jeans in size 32") They allow me to move freely and they are tough. Nice color too. Couldn't ask for anything more- this site rocks
just as good as the pants
i bought these shorts because i love the teton twill pants. i was not disappointed as these shorts are just as cool as the pants.
Are these shorts known to run bigger or smaller in the waist? I'm 6' 0' and 230, and the Mountain Khaki pants I own are a bit tight (size 36, Broadway Fit). Didn't know if their shorts were the same way. Thanks in advance!
In size 36 waist, is there one middle back...
In size 36 waist, is there one middle back belt loop or two (one on either side of middle back, but no middle)? Best wishes. -Uncle Choppy
Hey Uncle Choppy,
These shorts in size 36 had two belt loops on the back at 1.5 inches from the center or 3 inches apart.
the Twill Short run true to size. If I...
the Twill Short run true to size. If I wear a 38 waist, do I order a 38 or a 40?Thanks,Phil Jacobs
I wear a 36 and bought the long khakis that fit more like a 34, I'm planning to order the same in a 38 so I can wear them.
