The Teton Twills are pants you can live in – get two so you'll always have a clean pair.

Forget what you think you know about tan pants and get in to the Mountain Khakis Men's Teton Twill. Inspired and designed by and for day- to- day life in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, these durable pants will change your mind about khakis. The Teton Twill isn't made for the sidelines of a tennis court but for those that put themselves and their clothing to the test of every day mountain living. Walking the dogs down a gravel road in the morning, push starting the ancient pickup and leading the pack at work all day takes a pant that transcends the gap of business casual to work wear. Their custom fabric is made from double-plied cotton thread for long-lasting durability and a smooth drape. Taking triple-needle stitching and metal hardware from their work pants, Mountain Khakis makes the toughest twill to be found on hill or dale.

    Excellent, Casual, Durable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 38 x 30

These are well built, quality, comfortable pants. The pockets are deep and functional, the hidden 5th pocket is a sweet addition and something that I really like about MKs. I normally wear 38 x 30, and these fit true to size.

This is my second pair of MKs. I also own an older pair of Canyon Cords with the hidden 5th pocket. Like my MK Canyon Cords, the Teton Twill Pants are a heavier cloth and best for cooler temperatures. At some point I will probably invest in a pair of MK Lake Lodge Twill or MK Poplin pants for warmer seasons.

If you are looking for something casual, functional, and durable, I strongly recommend the MK Teton Twill pants.

    Excellent Pants..

    • Size Bought: 32x34

Excellent pair of pants MK. I've used them on numerous peak bagging climbs; very rugged and did just find with some bushwhacking. Very casual look so they're great to wear out at the bars. I normally wear 32x32, but ordered 32x34 because I tend to shrink my stuff. It's a very comfortable pair of pants I would highly recommend it.

    Great pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small

They are great pants, very comfortable and sturdy. But as other people have said you need to order up size, I normally where a 34 (little loose) ordered 36 and fits perfect.

Finally the LONG inseam's I need

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 32x34

Kudo's to MK for putting out great pants in a true 34" inseam for those of us that are long legged. I bought these after having a pair of the broadway fit versions that I'm in love with. For my build the broadway fit is better. These were correct at the waist but quite roomy from there down. They would be fine for an everyday pant, but I wear them for work and needed something a bit trimmer. Since these didn't work I bought 2 more pairs of Broadway Fit versions!

    "Retro Khaki" Color is off

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

The color on the website for "Retro Khaki" looks yellow or mustard, which is what I wanted. The color I received is much closer to the "Sand" color option. The pants are sturdy and comfortable. All the stitching is well done.

    Didn't fit well

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

I returned these pants after trying them on. They were too tight at the waist (for the size) while the legs seemed to be on the loose side. The materials seemed great and I really wanted to like these, but the fit was too far off for them to work for me.

    Amazing pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

these are my go to pants for whenever I need a nice pair of pants that can be casual yet dressed up some. They fit well, but do tend to hang a bit loose. For us skinny folks they also have a Broadway fit in these pants which are a bit slimmer and fit men that have no rears.

    Solid pant

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

This pant fits well. I love the crotch region, no pinch points or tight spots. The material is maybe a little thinner than past versions of this pant. I still think this is one of the most durable and long lasting pants out there.

Best looking pant on my boyfriend.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I bought these for my boyfriend who wears Carhartts everyday. Nothing against Carhartt, but wanted something that didn't look as much like a work pant. These have sealed the deal! I love when he wears them and best of all he loves the pants too.

He is typically a 34x32 and that's what I ordered. They seem to be a little longer than other pants he has but not by too much.

The only thing I have noticed is that the back pockets seem to be rubbing through and over time might wear through.

    Mostly Great Pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These pants feel great, and seem like they will last a long time. I have two pairs that I have been wearing regularly to work for about the past two months, as well as some light hiking and bouldering in them. They are super comfortable and haven't really shown any sign of wear. The legs are a little baggy but they fit great over boots.

The one draw back to these pants is that the sizing is a little inconsistent. Both pairs I have are 32x32 but the length is about 1.5 inches different, as you can see in the picture, but nothing that a little rolling up can't fix. The waists are basically the same though.

    Also the colors look great!

    Mostly Great Pants

    I love these pants.

These pants are awesome! They are much more comfortable than the regular canvas material pants, but still plenty durable. I take these out hunting or working outside when it's cooler outside. I would say these pants run a little long, with baggy legs, but true in the waist.

      Sizing is wrong

Im consistently a 34-36. 34 is normally a snug fit, while 36 is comfortable.
Ordered the 36x34, and they're a lot tighter than ANY other 36 pants i've got. They seem more like a 34 in the waist. On another note, the legs are roomy, borderline baggy.
They're in my experience not true to size. Make sure you try them on.
But as long you're aware, I guess these are great pants.

        Size issue

I have been a long time fan of MKs. Recently I have found it difficult to find the right size for me. I am consistently a 33 waist but often fit into 32s and sometimes 34s are not too big. My problem with Mountain Khaki is that 32 is just a tad too small and 34s are way big on me, especially around the thighs and upper part of the pant. Otherwise, I love the feel and comfort of these pants. Highly recommended if sizing works!

          Opinions Are Subjective

This was a tough call. Clothes are my vice and I have lots; particularly pants. I have several pair of mountain Khaki mountain pants and I use them strictly when I am getting my hands dirty and I couldn't be happier. It took me awhile to buy a pair of these and I am going to remain neutral and offer some of my opinions. Here goes:
            Pros:
            - MK quality
            - super soft
            - awesome pockets i've grown to luv about MK
            Cons:
            - crotch is low. WEIRD MAN. This was actually the deal breaker for me and let me tell you why. My body type is proportionately larger in the legs and shorter in the torso. My inseam is ideally 31-31.5. MK in a 30 short USUALLY fits the bill. Similar case this time, although this time around there is what seems like an extra couple of inches in crotch length; makes you look dumpy.
            Neutral Opinion:
I honestly can't hate on MK. My profession is on the business side of casual (button up and nice jeans or khakis). These are SUPER COMFORTABLE, although you have to rock these with Keens or something. They look out of place with some dressier casual shoes like my Salomon spirits. Just doesn't work for me.

Hello. I love the looks of these pants but am struggling with what size to order after reading all of the reviews. I'm 6' 2" and 180lbs with pretty skinny legs and rear. I always wear 32 or 33 waist with a 34 inseam. Reviewers and staff seem to think I should order 34 waist with only a 32 length in this pant. Any suggestions on sizing would be a big help. Thnx.

why are the pictures different between the colors? the olive color which I bought depicts the typical reinforced pant bottom and double belt loop in the rear of the pant, while the remaining two colors appear to be a more traditional pant leg bottom and single belt loop in the back of the pant. What gives?

What is the leg opening for a 34/34 or 34/36 pant? i saw an answer below where someone said the leg opening range is 19" to 20 3/4" but I'd like to know what it is for this specific size, if anyone knows.

I'm big on the size of opening on the leg....

I'm big on the size of opening on the leg. I have big feet so I look rather goofy in pants with a small opening. Can someone tell the size of the opening of the pant at the very bottom and the size of the outseam on a size that is 34 or 36 long?

The outseam for the Teton Twill in a 34" inseam is 19.5" and for a 36" inseam it is 19 5/8"
The leg opening is graded with the sizes, so it depends on the exact size you are looking for. For a 30" waist 19" and for 42" waist, it is a 20 3/4" opening.

Is the hidden pocket zipped? Would like to use these for travel and I really need a front pocket with a zipper.

hi im not sure as to how the sizing works with these pants. im a 32 normally and i see from people that you need to go a size larger. could you please suggest a size for me

Mountain Khakis run true to size, but since most styles are 100% cotton, keep in mind that there will be some shrinkage if you dry them and different fabrics shrink different amounts. However, most shrinkage (roughly 1-2%)will occur in the length, not the waist, so a small amount of length in the inseam is added to make up for this. A lot of pants on the market give a bit of wiggle room to the waists, intending to keep egos happy. Mountain Khakis are actually 34" if the size is 34." So, as panhandler suggested, if you are a true 34" waist, buy 34" waist. If you are between sizes, probably the bigger size will be perfect after washing.
