Mountain Khakis put a finer-grade spin on the Women\222s Teton Twill Pant so that it can withstand your day-to-day rigors as well as clean up nicely when you\222re going out to dinner. The Mountain Khakis Teton Twill Pant\222s durable, double-ply construction provides reliable longevity, and since they\222re pre-washed, these pants will feel as comfortable as an old friend right out of the box. A flat front and slight flare at the cuff add a refined look to these Mountain Khakis pants.

Bottom Line: But hey, you clean up nicely, too.

Sturdy pants, fit is a bit baggy

I bought these pants wanting a lighter-weight, more casual version of my beloved Mountain Khakis Alpine pants. I ordered two pairs in 6 regular, since that's what I've always worn in the Alpines, but the Teton Twills are sized differently. They are baggier than I'd hoped, and look a bit sloppy in the butt and upper thighs compared to what I'm used to. When held flat, the legs are about 25 cm wide. The waistband also gaps some in the back, and the pants are incredibly long (I am 5'6", 135 lbs, and I have to roll these pants up twice to get them at the right length).

That being said, the Teton Twills are incredibly soft and comfortable and I like the yellowy colour of the khaki (doesn't wash you out the way paler khaki does). I've worn them for a week and hopefully after a few washes they'll fit a little better. Who knows, maybe I'm just shaped funny :) I would definitely recommend giving them a try!

16 is the largest women's size, but they do tend to run a little big, particularly the Womens Cottonwood Cords, which have a splash of Lycra. Here is the MK womens fit chart

Great pants

These pants fill an important hole in the current outdoor wear market: they are COTTON, not nylon! I understand the industry's desire to have clothes that dry quickly, but that is not a problem that we have here in hot-dry summer California. Wearing synthetic clothes in the summer here is like wearing a wet-suit !!
These pants fit well & are comfortable and roomy enough to allow good movement. They clean beautifully and feel well-made. Major downside is their cost.

Do not buy this product! they are overpriced and do not stand behind their product. I love the gusseted crotch, however they are not built to last. I bought a pair 3 months ago and yesterday, I literally sat down in my office and the pants ripped. Not along a seam, just ripped right in the middle of the leg fabric. There wasn't even a whole there to cause a rip! I had to leave the office and head home to change. I contacted the customer service, and they basically responded "what do you want us to do...", well stand behind your product and replace them! If they cannot withstand the rigors of the workplace, how then on the Mtn will they hold up? These should be called Bunny slope Khakis. The only thing Mtn about them is the overpriced price tag. If you want something that will last and is a solid investment, buy Carhartt or Patagonia. At least they stand behind their product. If I had actually worn them this weekend on my backpacking trip, I would be left half naked on the hillside.
Do not buy!!!
