The Mountain Khakis Teton Flannel Shirt was woven from pine needles, moose hide, and mountain soil. Well, not really, but that's the sense of rugged style you'll convey with this tough-yet-comfortable shirt.

Bad Ass! Like a lumberjack...

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Read my review later, purchase this first so they don't sell out! If you want an incredible quality flannel shirt, this is it. I'm sick of all the cheap-ass flannel shirts out there that are terrible quality. This shirt is true to size in the sleeves, but seems to run a bit long in the torso length. Has great quality stitching and buttons. In addition to all that awesomeness, the material is thicker than most flannel shirts. This gives it a great feel and fit.

I am 6'4" and 210lbs - I got an XL

Overall I know you will be very happy with this shirt. If you have any specific questions about it please give me a call (chances are I will be wearing it anyway) . Call the main Backcountry line and my extension is 4340

Next level flannel

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

All I can say is that as a lover of flannels, this thing is spot on. If you're on the fence about getting one like I was, don't hesitate to go for it. The fabric is thick and extremely soft, even after washing. It's almost on the level of my Patagonia Fjord flannel (but not quite). It also looks awesome, and the bison snap button at the bottom is a pretty sick touch. So much mountain man swag involved in this top. My only gripe is the dropped tail. I don't mind it, but I just wish it was a little less 'dropped'.

In terms of fit, I'm 5' 8", 155 pounds, somewhat barrel chested, and the Medium is just right. They shrink ever so slightly after the first wash, but MK sizes them for that, so order your size!

short sleeves

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

I'm 6'2 200lbs with a barrel chest and the medium fit well before washing but I would have returned it for a large because of other reviewers stating that it shrinks a little, however I returned it because the sleeves were already short on me and I was worried that they would be too short on the large as well...

For a flannel, ain't much better

Good shirt. It's a flannel that serves a flannels purpose. The buttons on this shirt a rad and the cut is perfect. 5'9" with shoulders and I wear a medium.

Great shirt

I have two of these now. Very comfortable - feels like a soft felt material. The cut and fit is great. I owned many flannel shirts, but these are one of my all time favorites.

Responded on

the cut and fit is great... by great do you mean athletic/ slim fitting or baggy and relaxed fitting?

Cozy fall/ winter shirt

Gave this to my husband and he wears it all the time. Super soft and warm. They do shrink a bit, but Mountain Khakis has made these shirts generously-sized to make up for it.
