Durable work pants

Used these a lot last summer doing lift maintenance work at a ski resort- they are plenty durable.
I'm a big fan of the option of different inseam lengths- I went for the 32x34, 'cause I like being able to wear them with a pair of boots and not having the cuff ride up to my shins when I'm squatting down the ground working.
The gusseted crotch is key too.
I only own 2 pairs of pants which aren't made for skiing in- both of them are from Mountain Khakis- this probably says a bit about how satisfied I am with 'em
Well made pair of pants.

I honestly don't know what everyone is complaining about with the sizing. I took them out of the packaging the minute they arrived at my door with the thought in the back of my mind that they would fit too tight in the waist because of the majority of the reviews, but honestly they are true to size. I ordered a 38x30 and they fit great. I can comfortably move around in them and work in them. Look forward to using these for work all summer.

I bought these in a waist size 34 thinking they would be plenty big, they were sadly very tight. Had to exchange for 35. Love the feel and look to these bomber khaki's. So versatile and functional yet fashionable at the same time. I hear Bill Murray wears MK's!

The pants are great! I love the gusseted crotch, and the triple stitch seams are very durable. The reinforced heel cup is something that I have been looking for for years, being from a skateboarding background, this part of my pants tends to wear very quickly, except with these pants. The broadway fit is a much tighter fit then this cut.
Fantastic pants

Love these pants. Great for casual wear, hiking, climbing, etc. I have not had any issues with durability and they seem rather resilient to me. I am 6'1" around 188lbs and the 34x32's fit great.
Alright... I guess

Consistent with other reviews - the sizing is weird. Especially from style to style. In most of my pants - jeans, dress pants and whatnot I am a 33 / 32. In these pants I am a 34/30. Which might cause you to think I am short and fat, which is not the case. I am 5'9'', 175 and dense, like pound cake.
Love the pant, inconsistant fit

Love these pants when I can get a pair that fit right. I've noticed that size varies from pair to pair. Good for what they say they are, Mountain Living.
These Pants Suck.

I bought these pants for 75 dollars and they ripped on a twig.I barely used them and I snapped said twig with my finger.

Durability has definitely been an issue with these pants. Hopefully you were able to contact Mountain Khakis or Backcountry (if bought there) and get another pair.
The best but way long

As always MK quality. Waist was true to size in 34W X 34L, but way long. I'm a 34 x 32, but sized up since the 32L's were out of stock in the color I wanted. I own several 34 x 32's that fit fine and figured the extra 2" of inseam wouldn't be a big deal. Well it was more like 3 - 4" of extra inseam.
Customer service was awesome, and my exchange pants are on there way already.
Some of the best pants out there

These dudes are super comfortable, and fit true to size! Most 30's I try on are too big, but these fit great. Also, for reference, when I have the time/money to get my jeans altered, they put me down as a 30, then adjust it to an actual 30. So don't hate. The material is great, comfortable, but tough enough to take outside. I can see these lasting a long time, so wear and tear won't be the reason I buy a few more in the future.

Well you can testify all you like but it will change nothing as to the fit of there pants. They do not fit as the sizing suggests, it is all over ther place. The legs vary and so do the waist sizing...you have to try them on ..and to write this stuff in a review means nothing because nothing has changed so far....From aus ..bought over the net...

I've had similar issues, best to try on as many different sizes, and sometimes multiple pairs of the same size. Once you find a pair that fits, they sure are comfy after a bit of use.
Nice pants

I bought these pants for my son, who is not a denim wearing kind of guy. He loves these pants. He's 6'3" tall, and he's a kind of no-ass body type. He has three pairs of these pants. He's a geologist, so he's moving around, up and down, quite a bit. These pants give him plenty of room to move.

I had a similar experience to several other reviewers here. The sizing wasn't quite right, so I ended up returning the pants. Seems like it would be better to size down from your normal pant size. The material looked nice though, so I definitely wish they would have worked out.

Bad Sizing.Ok, I've bought these pants before, sizes not great but ok. The next lot i bought were all over the place for sizing..they were a larger than a 34, bigger in the tail area and 3 inches longer than the pairs i bought last time ,same size same everything ..bottom line is don,t think you can buy these pants and expect the correct size, it wont happen.Regards Bruce...oh staff really didn't want to help either..

I ordered a 33W 32I and these babies are easily 3" or more longer than every other brand pant I own. I've been a 32I since I was about 16, I don't think it's me. What's up with the sizing?
What color pants does the guy wear on...

What color pants does the guy wear on Mountain Khaki's Original Mountain Pant webpage? It looks like Mustard Yellow color. So I assume it is the Yellowstone color?

Got the pants last week and have already worn them to work and gone on 2 day hikes in them. It's easy to tell that they are very rugged and durable, but they are extremely comfortable and not stiff at all.
My favorite pants!

These pants are great. I have several pairs and my oldest pair is pushing 6 years old. I will say that I have purchased multiple pairs of the same shade and there are almost always slight variations in the color of the pants. (This makes no difference to me, but may to some.) If you are looking for a solid pair of pants that have a gusseted crotch, roomy pockets, that wear nicely, and above all else are comfortable; then these are worth checking out.
